As I said before and will say again -
Carl, and for that matter, Gamez, is effectively in the business of keeping players happy so they continue playing and support the server.

Believe it or not, forums are a direct function of the server to provide entertainment in the form of social activity outside of the game

Thus you can deduct that GMs and moderators are the police which serve the city (server) in keeping the citizens (players) happy. When police/government crack down too hard what happens? People become unhappy, riots happen, etc etc, take Ukraine or Venezuela for example as those are recent.

Now, we can't riot here, we can't overthrow the government, in the end this is not a democracy as Carl has the ultimate power which cannot be touched much in a godlike fashion.

However, as seen by both Karissa and Bella of times past, if you make stupid decisions which piss off players, you're going to get drama and unhappiness, and that extends not only from players but also from fellow staff. Both of the aforementioned people slowly caused people to bleed off from this server (in Karissas case it was not slow at all, several new servers were created, huge staff exodus, etc.).

You can either go that route or instead of unnecessarily cracking down on things that provide players enjoyment, you can instead PROMOTE enjoyment. Make people love you and they will buy your product. Why do you think public relations is a job field? Because it is legitimately profitable and beneficial to make your customers happy. I know mods and GMs aren't Carl and you're not getting paid, but for the love of God (or Carl), you ALL used to be players, you should know how this feels, why do you do this, why can't we have our fun? Its not much to ask to just leave us be, and in return for doing nothing that you shouldn't do you gain our undying loyalty. Because if we've stayed around this long don't you think we fucking care about this server? I do.

The person who gave out the infractions has mysteriously vanished and ignored all responses.

Here's how this can be fixed real easily and if done I swear on my honor as something honorable it will be dropped. I'll actually literally make a blood oath if necessary where I will take one of my many knives or swords(actually own a bunch in RL) and cut my hand on it.

Just reverse the infractions.

Also it was completely lame of you to tell us to just "accept" the red flag infractions as US making a boo boo. WE didn't make the fucking boo boo. That thread was in hot spam and opened by someone on the staff for us to post in. Someone on your side made the damn boo boos and is now trying to hide it.

And if Ari wants to hit you with his machete I'll let you borrow any of my swords or knives to fight him off. So long as you record it so I can post it on the deepweb because no matter the outcome I'll make a shit ton of money selling vids of that.

Weapons I own are including but not limited too.

TWO Cold Steel 1796 Cavalry Sabers.(Razor sharp and french doctors actually complained about them because the cuts made from them were extremely hard to treat)

1 Indonesian Kris dating made in the mid 1600's out of Meteoric(literally came from a meteor) Iron and Damascus steel. This thing is awesome it was actually used in executions back in the day. The people being executed were lined up and made to kneel and the executioner would start with the far right, stab down into the back of first person's neck, step to the left, and repeat until everyone is dead.

It still has bloodspots on it, and when I first got it some strange stuff started happening in my house. Feelings of being watched when no one was around, stuff moving on it's own, electronics being turned on and off on their own. Someone who was killed by it was attached to it and has haunted it. I had it cleansed and the strange stuff stopped. (I'm actually completely serious about this and am NOT trolling here or telling one of my silly stories)

1) 200Plus year old African Tribal Spear.

1) Cold Steel Boar Hunting Spear(if you dont' know what it's used for, people use them to hunt boars)

1) Damascus Steel Katana from the early 1900's

1) Dao(Chinese Broadsword

1) Chinese straightsword made of Black and Red Damascus steel.

1) Fully sharp high carbon steel Spartan Sword from the movie 300. This thing is fucking heavy and wouldn't be that great in a fight. But it cuts great.

1) Northern Chinese Longsword (I would recommend picking this, it's light, sharp, flexible, high carbon steel, and can hold up in a fight.

1) Arabian Saber heat treated by Atlanta Cutlery

and various knives and bayonets

Just going to defend ari real quick and say he's probably asleep right now. I don't agree at all with the infractions but he didn't just close out of the forums to ignore us, this is his regular sleep time.

 

I also forgot to mention that I have a Chinese PuDao. It was used as both for one on one fights and in armies against enemy cavalry. What they did was wait for the cavalry to charge and then step to the side and use it to cut the horses' legs. This would cause the rider to go flying out of the saddle and have a hard fall in full armor where he would be a sitting duck to be killed or captured. If he survived the fall to begin with.

Very brutal.

In a related matter I do have to say that I'm honestly impressed that someone has been keeping the Aion stuff out of General Discussion. As that is how I got the majority of my infractions because some noob made asking a silly Aion question in the NONAion General Discussion and I made a post calling them on it. Of course that individual would then neglect to actually move said thread over to Aion area.

He was very mean.
