A legit question.

This is bound to be closed sooner or later, but how is this: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f183/advertisement-event-99046/ different from those other sites that try to advertise their servers on our forum?

I don't want to call "YER A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES" like a squealish teenage girls, but?

Well, you don't advertise on other peoples servers.
Theres all kinds of forums, some of them with people who are asking for cool games to play.

 

I can actually agree with this x.x I feel like even if its MU that is doing this, Gamez as a whole is going to get a bad reputation from advertising on other sites, and said reputation and possible server rivalry isn't something we should look forward to causing.

 

The event might not be meant to be advertised on other peoples servers but I doubt that will ultimately be prevented x.x

 

I suppose if they weren't interested/unable enough to go look for "aion/mu private servers" on google, they aren't now also.

Plus, since there's no warning about posting on other pservers, I bet there will be 2 or 3 people doing so.

 

the event lacks manners as it was posted, clearly they didn't specify not to post ads on other p.servers' forums...

I'm glad we ban people for advertisement, so I'd hardly call that communism if thats what you're getting at, but its just a major contradiction in any case for us to go out and advertise D: (especially since a lot will probably end up on rival server forums)
