Ok so i started Aion for the very first time a few days ago (yes i have been living on the moon and its took me this long to discover the game). Ive got to a comfortable level and now am goin back over the quests/campaigns that ive missed. And im stuck.

Basically from Altguard i go to the observatory, run southish from there to the levi 'something' encampment and i have to fight Sentinel leader Gattbon to get the sword from him so i can give it to someone else an finish that campaign. With me so far? :p

2 days ive been there trying to find this little bugger, ive used the location thingy, ive seen where the camp is highlighted on the map but no, he wont spawn. I really dont know what else to do, i shouted in whole chat but ofc no one answered so i figured forum time cos theres always people here (i hope). Ok well thanks in advance for any help/advice and if there are any trolls dont bother as i have no food for you and comments will just be ignored.

I'm not entirely familiar with the quest you're explaining but its possible the quest is bugged or not scripted into gamez.

Gamez is a private server and there are many features that aren't working 100 percent like retail.
Also given the high rate on this server most people do not take the time to really do questing aside from very few campaign quests to reach cap.

Sorry I couldn't help you more specifically but chances are if you're having trouble with something the best bet is just to find an alternate form of exp or entertainment. All the bugs arent worked out and chances are wil be overlooked simply because the majority of people don't play here for the full aion questing experience.

Well thanks anyway. I went back to the area last night for another look and i swear he must have been waiting for me to post on the forum cos there he was!! Couldnt catch my breath lol. 2 days and he appears ...as if to say "What!? I was on a break."
Pfft, i just hate leaving quests unfinished, regardless of if the exp they give is not much. XD

becareful, some mobs have key starters. you have to kill a few things to get them to come out. OFTEN you will find them roaming the map and get stuck in stupid arieas, rocks, waterfalls, other such things. eith roam around or wait for a server restart. :3

You like to do quests? I only do a few to reach level 55 and then it's all pvp.

@Sygris Well Aion is only the 2nd mmo game i have ever played, the first being crappelz which i have taken an extended break from. I was never a big pvp player mainly cos i suck at it, i simply quested to get to my level. I know Aion is mainly pvp based but my friend's needed a healer and seeing as i know how to play one i thought what the hell.

Some people do like questing and since he's new it's a very good way to get to know the game and the maps.

As for the quest like others have said it is either bugged and have to wait for a server restart or you have to look around for the mob you're looking for.

@Downfall im a she dear :p (shock horror, another geeky gal playing computer games online, we're taking over the world! mwahahha) Sorry got abit lost then hehe, yeah i do like questing as i found it was a way to learn my way round the maps, however i have found Aion is in a league all of its own. Saying its huge is an understatement, but what ive seen so far i like, ive even participated in the pvp which is a new thing for me. On the other game i wont mention, my friends used to feine shock when i turned pk on. With Aion i have found its more acceptable to me as it is part of the game. You dont have level 90-120 players going round killing level 20-50 players and basically spoiling it for those who are trying to level. So many bullies in that other game. At least the players here have a fighting chance. I also like that the NPC actually do something instead of standing there looking pretty.
Only one problem now...playing too much (as i glance down at the clock..8am an no sleep yet) ah well i can do an afternoon nap like the rest of the oldies.
Thanks again guys n gals, see you in game. =(^o^)=
