Agreed, but what if they used duped gold medals and handed them off to the GM for EGT/EAT parts?

No gold medals exist anymore.

We currently have an internal discussion thread regarding deleting duped egt sets. 100% of these are duped, and they should, imo, be deleted just like the medals. Is it fair? No. But deleting gold medals that people purchased from dupers wasn't fair either. If you are going to do something, go all the way with it.

kinda suck for those who were victims.. and EAT/EGT sets will be the items people will stay away from it (well at least those ppl who actually visits the forum not just to QQ or whine or troll) ^^

everything that can be purchased that requires medals... from silver to gold. those items can be duped easy by those dupers.

unless the staff has a way to determine legit EAT/EGT items. then we will have no issue about it. if none, i guess moving to deleting it is a last resort....

but they can always increase the medal requirements or maybe even remove EGT/EAT items in the Abyss shop and allow 1 GM to spawn items w/ EGT/EAT via trade w/ the requirements.

it may require high determination from a GM and it is unlikely to happen. so leaning towards removing it permanently is more likely to happen

i dont see why it should not happen. but then again, we have to take into consideration that these GMs have lives too. unless they are willing to sell stuff 24/7 or everyday and check dupe or clean medals everyday then it can be done. and of course if they are paid real $ to do it. i think it has higher chance of happening.

but you see, the work of AM/GM are mostly voluntary meaning, no wage.
i dont want to sound like GM/AM needs to be paid, but a wage / salary always give a big kick . ^^

 

actually those people that go against the idea of anti dupe is the people that is afraid that the duping days will be done..and they hate that they will go against anti dupe idea u know who u are :annoyed:

this problem will just get worst by the days this abuse goes on. i think putting an end of this EGT/EAT items (removed) asap is the best way to lessen dupe for now.

 

I'm being the devil's advocate here, but if we have to rely on credits :

7.5k for EAT armor
1.5k for weapon
2.5k for jewelry
2k for EAT helm/belt

-> 135 days of voting to get the low end pvp stuff (and probably still get ***ed by full ABG people).

Tell me again why high rates are worth it?

People come to private servers to get everything fast. Either by donating, or farming like madmen to buy from other players.

If you only keep the donators, I'm pretty sure the server's gonna die.

Wiping the gold medals was necessary, I'll agree to that. But it's not a definitive solution. The game needs medals, the influx just needs to be GM controlled.

EDIT: Personnaly I hate dupers, I'm scared like sht to be scammed at every trade. BUT, if I have to either donate or wait 5 months to be able to pvp, I'm out of here.

they can remove the store that sells those EGT and players can either trade their gold medals to the GM for the amounted/required medal abyss item and the GM can spawn it to their inventory or whatsoever

w/o an anti dupe system, that the only resort i can think of for now that GM/AM/Staff can do atm.




OH.. or they can make the gold medal requirement.. hmm 100x more expensive (who ever buys one EGT at store is a certified duper if he can afford that) wahahahaha!!!

Cause, I'm pretty sure it was available via the donation/vote reward shop. If by any case they do get deleted, say good bye to most donators/voters.

Sooo, unless you're willing to refund people that have bought their stuff via the main site, I suggest you don't.

there would be no server wiped out. next update as Carl's said, all dupe will be fixed.

 

i also have EAT armors but if wiping them makes the economy better, i have no problem with it...in the first place, WE, buyers of EAT knew that those were duped...
