    Hi there guys!

I have a problem in the last mounths with the game. It diden't bothered me that much but I just want to know if it's my PC or the connection or something in the game.
So, the problem is that every time I turn on my Pc and I run Aion, it runs smoothly for aprox 10-15 min than my PC shuts down completly leaving my char logged on. (this happends only when I run Aion). After I restart the PC and reenter Aion it's a little bit laggy but it dosen't shut down anymore. Now I know as routine that until shut down I shoulden't go hunting:biggrin:. It happends everytime, mostely when there are elyos around. So, If u have an ideeas or it happened to ayone alse, please leave here a post and share your infos.

    Thanks a lot

P.S. My posts don't count either. I have like hundrets of posts and it shows only 16-17.:whistling:

The shutdowns only happen when you play Aion? What kind of PC do you have? Specs and operating system. As for post count, posts in hot spam and trade sections dont add to it. Also it sometimes takes a bit to get updated.

Those are pretty decent specs. One thing that could be causing the shutdowns is your comp overheating. One of my laptops used to have this problem. I would check on getting a better fan and maybe trying to get more ventilation for your comp.
As for the post count, if the majority of your posts are in hot spam or the trading sections then they dont get added to your post count. Not that post count really matters anyways. Its like steak sauce in India :D

Since you have a laptop I would highly recommend getting a cooling pad. I have one and it works great. You can easily get one from stores like Wal Mart, Staples, Best Buy, etc for about 20-30 bucks.

GPU specs? possible over heat problem? check your fans when shutdown occurs?

Could just be a corrupt file within aion may need to repair.

About post count as beast sai spam and trade section does not ad post count along with crystal and gamez general discussions.

Ok Beast, I will take that in mind. Although I was thinking overheating may cause it, one thing still bothers me. Why after the shut down thingy it runs normaly?:whistling:
As for the posts, it's ok for me. Just wanted to know.

OH this is a laptop? oh ya you need to keep that puppy cool. laptops are king for over heat problems playing games, and this game running on a high end cry engine it will boil most non gaming laptops so be sure to get you a laptop cooling pad for playing games.

I honestly dont know. It could be any number of things such as a corrupt file like Furious said. Try opening the NCSoft launcher and using the repair tool, and getting a cooling pad(preferably one with fans). And see if that solves your problem.

After shut down and restart it has has enough time to cool off. your system is set to shut down the PC when temperatures reach a certain temp to avoid total melt down so it never reaches that state.

No problem, for now just make sure you have plenty of breathing room under the laptop (NEVER play it on a bed or any cloth material which wont allow the laptop to breath), till you get a laptop cooling pad. Maybe even get an external fan blowing on it while you play.

Like beast said you can pick them up pretty cheap and they run off your laptop battery through USB.

I gues ur right. I had one once(while I was playing Silkroad online) and it did a pretty good job considering that the demands for the game were pretty similar to Aion's.
