About items . pak ..

Well i went to the page http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]3-0-items-pak-124142/ .. and i downloaded the ItemV2 cause i have w7 and 32 bit ... then i dont know how to put the items .pak in my client .. any help ?

Method

Due to the differences in peoples clients as well as operating systems, there are different locations where the items.pak could work. I will try set guidelines for how to get it to work but it might take a little experimentation as there is no one way that works for everyone

Method 1
1. Empty Aion\Data\USA\Items\ & Aion\Data\Europe\Items\
2. Empty your Aion\Data\Items\ folder
3. Extract one of the new versions inside while keeping Aion\Data\USA\Items\ empty
4. Start the game, check if it runs and the untradeable text disappears
5. If you get errors, empty the folder, put the original items.pak back and see if the game runs
6. If it runs, close it and repeat the process with another version, if not then repair through NCSoft launcher and try with another version.
7. If no version works, make sure you restore the original in your Aion\Data\Items\ folder and the game runs before trying Method 2

Method 2
1. Keep the original items.pak in Aion\Data\Items\
2. Extract one of the new versions into Aion\Data\USA\Items\
Note: if you do not have an items folder there, create one yourself
3. Start the game, check if it runs and the untradeable text disappears
4. If you get errors, empty the Aion\Data\USA\Items\ folder again and see if the game runs
5. If it runs, close it and repeat the process with another version
6. If no version works, empty the Aion\Data\USA\Items\ folder and cry

You have to delete the old items.pak from Aion/Data/USA/Items and Aion/Data/Europe/Items.
Then delete the original 3.0 items.pak from Aion/Data/Items and extract the new items.pak, that you downloaded, inside that folder.

for win7 32bit download version 4 and use method 2

1. check & retain original item.pak in directory aion/data/items
2. check directory aion/data/usa/items( if this directory doesn't exist create)
3. extract downloaded item.pak version 4 to directory aion/data/usa/items and test if the game will run without a sendlog.

Humm, Camila and Minaki did pretty much say everything about 3.0 item.pak.

If you are getting DC when you log in, you need to repair your client.^^
