About Mount climbing

I see many people climbing hills that are not supposed to be climbed by foot with a mount.. pressing space... they told me its a bug...


so isn't a bug abuse and should be punishable ? it's really annoying... you glide from place to place.. mountain to mountain... and those mount smartasses climb like that and kill you

Then I believe it's bug abusing. Mounts aren't added to the game to climb hills, mountains or any elevated platforms that you couldn't reach thru jumping / gliding that way. They aren't made so people wouldn't need to climb their way up or make it faster for them.

 

exactly like this... it's so damn annoying when you are up in a hill.. zerg down.. and people just abuse it.

and the other bad thing is that Screenshots are not valid proof since they have cooldown 5s or so..

i already play with 20fps and if i frap.. it will be just a lagged video ;/

 

Thats not considered as Bug abusing anymore. We are not going to issue any punishments on this. Everybody can use it, and nobody gets a real disadvantage by it. They might be used to climb up to ely/asmo kisk zones in gelk/ingi, but players can already get there by using the passages in silenteria canyon.
Anyway, thats a Geo-Data issue, and therefore it wont be considered as Game bug.
(Something similar happened more then 1 year ago, fear was moving you into texture due to a geodata issue)
