About updating to 3.0

Hello again!

I just want to know if there will be a manual patch (2.7 to 3.0 only) for the new 3.0 update that will be available in the gamezaion website or forum so that we can download it early. Also patching the client using the official aion launcher might cause some problems to me connecting to gamez. I suggest to update the "How to connect guide" or some other guide for us.

actually it wont cause any problems also the update to 3.0 from true 2.7 clients is 3gb or so of files u cant really separate from the client so making a manual patch would take a ridiculous amount of time. also ncsoft has faster speeds anyway.

the safest way to get to 3.0.0.3 is using the repair function from the ncsoft launcher. it makes sure u have all the files u need without even needing to reinstall the gamez launcher.

the only manual fix i would add is deleting the items.pak from data\europe\items\ and data\usa\items since the 2.7 one thats left over causes people to get stuck. u can replace it with the 3.0 one once u have the client or just leave the folder empty if u cant run the items.pak, 3.0 is fine with just the one in data\items

anyways u can just update when gamez goes 3.0, wont take that long

if u wanna get it ready ahead of time, just copy paste ur 2.7 client and repair just one of them, then ull be able to just delete the 2.7 one when 3.0 comes out

edit: if u have a downgraded 3.0 client, change the version.ini to 3.0.0.1 before repairing, will save you downloading the stuff u have already the 2nd time
