Select C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Desert Online and remove the "Read-only".

If by any chance you have retail account, launch the official launcher and repair your client.

I'm checking it now I'll post results shortly.

Nothing changed at all, still the same issue.

Are you getting the same error even after repairing the client through the official launcher?

Were you able to remove the "Read-only" from Black Desert Online folder? Or this error popped up?

    Thought so, follow this:
Type GPedit.msc in Start Search to run Local Group Policy editor. (Or gpmc.msc to run Group Policy Management Console for AD-based domain GPO editor).
Navigate to the following tree branch:
    Code:
Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options
Locate the following policy in the right pane:
    Code:
User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode
Set its value to Elevate without prompt.
Locate the following policy in the right pane:
    Code:
User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for elevation
    Set its value to Disabled.
Locate the following policy in the right pane:
    Code:
User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode
    Set its value to Disabled.
Locate the following policy in the right pane:
    Code:
User Account Control: Only elevate UIAccess applications that are installed in secure locations
    Set its value to Disabled.
Disable UAC with Group Policy and restart the PC.
