Account does not exist or password is incorrect

When I launch the game from the GamezBD, it heads to the Black Desert main menu. I click Start and it pops up with an error saying "Account does not exist or password is incorrect

 

Make sure to type the username and password in the exact same way you registered to the system. If there is no typo and the password is indeed correct but the error persists, tick the "Remember" box.

 

This happened to me just recently as well (patch 1223), I tried the remember password checkbox both on and off. However I have some context. I do some jobs for my alt on a laptop between switching to my desktop with a TV, and one of those times I logged In from my desktop while the latop was still running the game. I haven't been able to log into my game from the laptop since, I'll try making a new account to switch to, and making my steam cilent the source of the gamez launcher instead, and report back,

 

fixed with website password reset. its not gonna be a password you typed its one of those RNG ones
