Account personal IP Block

i copied this suggestion from the current wow srv im playing on

idk if its possible here, but would be kewl if you could implement an personal ip account block. meaning that the user of that account can go on the game`s site, type his account details and he can get this account stuck on the ip he-s logged on using a special option (meaning only that ip can acces the account)

this way, no more account theft, no more lost items or "i gave my account to my cat, couse she tried to kill a fish and she stole my set"

for example, lets say my ip right now is 1.0.1.0.1

i go on the site, type my details, click a special option for this and then i choose "block account on ip"
and from that day on i can only acces my account from the ip 1.0.1.0.1

hope some1 understood the ideea, lol.

 

Just as in putting a password for each char as in retail? that'd do some good i guess...but than again not to forget the retards telling even the shoe size they wear to a fake AM....

 

People who wanna share THAT bad can always give their IP to the beloved folks they're sharing with, they burn a proxifier & woalah... you've logged & bypassed the "IP Block"

 

What about those without a real ip aka dynamic, able to change my IP each time I reboot my modem, also about those in the internet cafe's with same ip oh;x that's will just bring more trouble to the server, will use resources which are pretty much needed. About the idea, character password, that's ****ing great

Some people also want to share their accounts, I.E a couple may play on one account for the sake of having items on one account
Also, if someone were to move, the IP would be changed (usually) and then their access to their own account is gone
Some people can/do change their IP when they reboot their computer, as s1ngl3 said

The best thing would be character password, or to leave it as it is and help people stop sharing accounts with people who are untrustworthy.

I support in some ways, I don't in others.
