Advice - Melee classes <3

arrrhhhh >.> no elyos? *sad*

 

alright i'll just tell you here.

1. as a ranger = fast and agile. striking for afar gives ranger advantages, but if your ping is above 400.. in this server, just don't. you need to react fast with every buffs and evading skills you had :O (and also... to pewpew ofc)

2. observe every skills: range, effects, cast time, cooldowns, and also check if the skill requires you to actually stop to enable you to shoot.

3. arrange your skill bar. needs some pvp experience/duels to suits your playstyle. since mine is pressing+clicking, i put the skills i usually click (the instant ones like gale arrow, heartshot) near the end of my main skill bar (8-9) for example.

4. practice jump shooting. this is essential since you have to be mobile to cover your weakness (squishy) >.>"

5. get a good party to pvp with (since you're the tail eliminator and the ultimate chaser) with the speed buffs and mau form you had, you're the ultimate hunter of your party. slow them down, baby. if more than one you can move from other slowed down enemy to another one (entangling + shock arrow ftw) you didn't get the kill? no problem. at least with the right team work, they're all dead

6. priority to kill. -- if you clashed against a team, this is necessary. rangers are made to eliminate the core of a party. healer/caster name it. just don't separate too far from your party so you will still get healed.

scrolls: running, courage, crit strike and also some elemental proof scrolls

for food i'll recommend:

-innesi herb dumpling (elyos) or poma wine herb dumpling (asmo)
crit strike +60, accuracy +60, evasion)
-sky dragon emperor's curry (elyos) or Horned Dragon Emperor's Curry (asmo)
accuracy +60, elemental defense +60, atk +12

drinks: any for mana+health treatment.

Shes still lvl 20, but shes a cleric anyways :3

I'll give you some pro tips.
Try to use Hide combined with Hunter's Eye and Bestial Fury.
Try not to use stunning skills against sins or rangers as your first skill.Instead of that, use Gale Arrow.
Always use your Sleep Arrow when battling more than 1 enemy.
Don't use Silence Arrow on sorcs or sm which have Stone Skin on.
Try to outrange melee classes.
Finally, always remember to pop Focused Evasion,Dodging and Nature's Resolve when you're being chased.

nobody explained to you how they work??


let me put it in the most simple sesame street level form of explanation. . .

a rune is like a C4 bomb,

skills such as rune carve, long range rune-carve, fang strike chain, rune slash is the PLANTING of the C4 on your enemies butt. . .

once you've planted many C4s on your enemies butt,

skills such as; binding rune, pain rune , rune burst and etc, are the skills the detonate the bombs, causing various effects to the target

yey you now learned how rune works, delete your ranger now lolol

 

Well if you're a ranger and if you come across me one on one heres what you should do.

1) You see me coming towards you. Bend Over. It is extremely vital that you get this right for it has to be perfect to build on the rest of the combo.

2) I'm attacking you with cleave combo at this point. Put head between legs. Once again you HAVE to get this right or the whole combo is mess up.

3) By this time I'm right on you and I've probably already hit you with a lockdown followed by a tendon slice, so you need to Kiss ass goodbye.

 

Im fond of that idea!
