Advice needed for getting medals.

Hi all

Is it a best way to get plat/gold medals from 'Abyss - Core' by using a Assasin, stealth skills to sneak in?

*At the moment, i have nothing good to trade for. Almost empty*

I do have a problems before getting even inside the core, with my Gladiator. There's quite a few other race out there & i can't tank with their damage for my current armour now.

So the best way could be using a assasin?

or

a better option would be using credits to trade for medals?
(Then how much per plate/gold medals cost in credits?)

I heard they took out medals from the chests in core instance. As far as I know the only way to get medals currently is through repeateable quests, which are very annoying.

But on the other question, sins have the best pve dps (way higher than glads). That combined with shadow walk and stunlock makes it the best class for pve farming.

 

Oh. Then what are the quest that give medals?

for platinum medals you can do the quests inside balaurea forts inggison for elyos and gelk for asmo

 

..i think if you attack a fort on gelk/inggi when its vulnerable even just the main guard u'll get plat medals..im not but ived done it once..

 

No, you don't. At least when we took all the forts before they didn't. My legion took both ing forts and some of the abyss forts when the emulator was first put in. We never got any medals for taking them. On the first day the forts functioned like retail (every cycle that the fort you control doesn't get taken, your legion leader receives medals through mail), but ever since that didn't work either.

So yeah, pretty much all you can do is the fort repeatable quests for platinum medals. Not sure if there's anything for gold medals.
