Sooooo, After 2 years of vacation I have comeback to play Aion.
and My problem is keeping with the updates and the new stuff.
I hope you guys can help me.
So here, 2 years ago, HAC sets and HAC weapons (now called Shedim) are the best PVP gear for everyone.
Now, i see in game lots and different sets for PVP.
Can anyone tell me what is the best gear for PVP now? for templar Rank 1 to be specific.
and another thing, i tend to forget where to locate the shop that uses credits.
PLEASE HELP ME!

 

You can use any set regardless of your rank. Even the governor items are available for everyone to use regardless of the rank as long as you're trying to equip an item that is meant for your class. The best gear right now is Elite Arbiter / Principal, followed by Arbiter / Principal then Custodian / Shepherd / Emissary / Ambassador. For templar however, Elite Principal or Principal is the best choice for it's additional block.

The in-game shop where you can spend credits on has been removed. Use the web shop instead.

Oh BTW, Im rank 1 now, so what do you think is suitable for PVP? and is DDL still the thing for weapons?

 

Your current gear can work while you farm up Ceramium medals and AP for your set (and accessories perhaps); Your DDL weapon can be upgraded to a somewhat better extendable through a morph recipe, but there are Lethal Elite Arbiter extendables that also give you PvP attack, so might wanna save up credits for one of these.

 

Shedim items don't have much value these days. To be honest and in my opinion it's close to worthless now.

DDL is still a decent weapon to use for PvP but you might want to morph that to Furious Longtooth so you can use a better fuse. Like I said, rank doesn't matter because regardless of your rank, you are available to use any item you desire as long you as you meet the level requirement and the item is meant for your class. Considering you just came back, you might want to start from Blood Mark gears and with this, work your way up to get Custodian / Emissary (if you're Elyos) or Ambassador / Shepherd (if you're Asmodian)

Hi again its me , so i've done some of the things you've adviced and ive encountered in the shop costudian and emissary. which of both are best suited for pvp?

and OH! ive read this from my items "can add idian." what is idian btw?

 

Custodian Divine and Emissary Divine are more or less the same thing with the exception of Leather and Chain Sets. Custodian Divine leather is for rangers and assassins since it has physical stats while Emissary Divine leather is for gunslinger as it gives magical stats. Custodian Divine chain is for aethertechs and offense clerics since it gives magical stats while Emissary Divine is for chanters and support clerics as it gives physical stats, extra physical defense tho you'd have to switch the Emissary Divine Handguards with Custodian Divine Handguards if you're a cleric for the cast speed. The same thing goes for the case of Aethertech. While Custodian Divine chain has magical stats, the handguard is cast speed which does not fit for aethertechs so if you don't have Wings of the Circle Level 2 then you can opt to switch the handguards part with Emissary Divine for the attack speed.

For Custodian Divine and Emissary Divine plates and cloth armors, they are basically the same with very little difference in stats. Custodian Divine plate/cloth has a bit more Magic Resist than Emissary Divine plate/cloth while Emissary Divine plate/cloth has a bit more Magic Suppression than Custodian Divine plate/cloth.

Idian is basically like manastones. You use it on your weapon and you get extra stats that has a chance to give an extra PvP Defense / Attack depending on the idian you're using. There are variations as to what stats you will get from an idian. You can check this page for further info as to which idian gives what stats and the chances of getting a certain combination of stats, simply type on the search box at the right side "idian". Idians on offhand weapons however doesn't add up to you stats. If you're dual wielding weapons and both weapons has idians on them, you only get the the stats from the idian on the main-hand weapon and not the off-hand weapon. Lastly, idians wear out. As you use your weapons, it gets weaker and later on disappear you can however put an idian on the weapon again if you want to.
