After character selection screen and you enter the game, black desert online closes w/o error

In regards the title, if you have that issue. The fix for me as I just did it now is to go C:\ProgramData\SmartGuard and delete the whole smartguard folder.
It will be redownloaded anyway after you login in the gamezbd launcher.
-I have tried redownloading the whole game files which took an hour
-Tried to turn off av/firewall
-Tried force check

All else fails because the issue was somewhere with the smartguard, thanks to the windows event viewer who pointed it out I should've checked that first lol.

Hope this helps out other players who suddenly got this issue and got their SmartGuard corrupted (because it indeed corrupted, it was working fine yesterday!)
