Error is like this for everyone. but support does not help

 

Downloand and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable. Restart your PC and let me know if it works.

 

It did not work, it keeps closing the executable without previous message

Problem solved through Teamviewer.
If you are running MSI Afterburner or Razer Synapse, close the applications and launch the game.

 

Thanks Noyah for the help. Staff with problem MSI AfterBurn is conflicting and does not let the game open.

Try to close it one by one (except for Nvidia), close try to open the game and see if it worked! Other than that in the BlackDesert folder right click on property and disable the "Read Only" option. Then send it here if it worked.

 

Also happening to me. Started after last server restart

edit: tried all the solutions and nothing.

Edit 2: Made a new char and it somehow loaded fine. Then swapped to main and no issues; been logged ever since

he solved the problem himself. conflict with some kind of program. it remains to be understood with what.

 

I've been getting the same issue as well.
Pressing start on the launcher would cause a splashscreen to appear for a second before the launcher pops back up.
BlackDesert64.exe also appears briefly on processes before closing itself.

I've managed to successfully launch the game after closing both the nvidia experience and logitech gaming programs. But it seems that after leaving the game running overnight, the game might have crashed or closed itself and I've since been unable to start the game again, encountering the same issues experienced above.

EDIT: 12 hours later with no reply, here's an attachment of the launcher logs if it matters. Trying to get this piece of shit to work is suffice to say frustrating.

went to windows error report and it states that black desert stopped communicating with windows and was closed.

 

Easier is subjective.
Considering I've probably done most of what I can think of.
Exceptions in Malwarebytes, Windows Defender? Done
Disabling live scan in Spybot? Done
Admin rights? Long done.
Windows 10 test mode? Done

All in all, it seems whatever solution I can think of, it boils down to the simple fact that this launcher is a piece of shit.
And I don't know what's worse, this launcher or the fact that I donated to this project.

 

What about Windows SmartScreen?

 

dont get me wrong but it will get to a point that we need to disable everything just for the launcher to work. Security software are there for a reason, we cant just live uninstalling and disabling everything

 

Trying to figure what prevents from the game to start. Of course, I'm against disabling all the security softwares and leave you exposed, but apparently Windows SmartScreen blocks the game for many other players.
