I agree to the points The Aegis has spoken about, and I do agree that kids need to be kids but still should be aware of the history behind this activity and how it's actual the opposite of a day to day teaching to children.

It's like a social experiment for what lies ahead since they'd be moments in our lives where we got to break away from our teachings to get from point A to point B or go through a struggling situation while keeping your code (teachings) to get to the same point A to point B. If they were to stick to the rules of their parental teachings, they'd probably have a harder time getting the candies but still a slim chance of success.

Quite similar to the quote in my signature but change the term 'the conscience' to 'your teachings'.
