Aion's losing points.

    Here testing out Blade and Soul, I've recognized that Aion's biggest losing point for me is that shields only serve cosmetically. Not in the sense of stat-boosting, but practical use.

    In BnS, a tap of a skill can immediately block a mob's attack, rendering it useless and offering a chance to counter, if timing's right. In Aion, shields are...well...something good-looking (apart from its stat boost). You don't get to control it, and it's pretty :[ for me, even if I know that Aion and BnS belong to different categories.


    What else do you think are Aion's main losing points?

    It's community. In Retail & here. It has so much potential but it's structure is vaguely running on the attitude of the players. It's not stable, not at all.

    Oh god finally someone brings something like this up. I play tank classes for the usage of shields, but in Aion its just..meh.

    well, the way i see it... is that, BnS points are mainly on Micro Management and the R18 rating. ;)

    Also BnS has been a game I've been waiting for, for quite a long while now. Remember when it was first announced. I love the way the combat system is and the art style.

    in aion, the tank has.... cannon. especially in gamez. :D

    well. between BnS and GW2. i prefer GW2 cus i dont like korean + chinese style.

    How soon is soon? I haven't really looked into it after PSO went down, and the 360 version was complete garbage filled with morons. :c
