He's leaving, he's just gonna peruse the forums for about a week then move onto other projects.

 

How sad i think that Gamez is going only 1 way lately bad to worse.

I wont be surprised if Gamez project will close soon.

 

It would count as a donation if it was free willed Giving in hopes of nothing more then the spirit of good doing something for some one.

However, Baiting donations with the promise of goods Shatters the mask of it being "A donation."

Who here Donated out of good faith? Who here Donated because they wanted to, and not to have Shiney gear and Nifty Wings?

I moved to this server cause item PRICES were cheep and they had free fly. High Rates and Advertised " Professional Staff."

I will admit to not quitting Gamez with the sole Reason that " I spent money on it."

For me Gamez was downhill since my Removal from GM, it went up slightly as alente and others started to pick it out of the mud. And frankly my dear, I don't give a damn...anymore.

To justify it as a Donation, there has to be no...bait. He is forced to call it a Donation because soliciting money online for personal profits with out a license is....what? ILLEGAL.

IT fails to become a donation when he states that "Donating
-will- give you credits to PURCHASE items from THE STORE!

I don't even have enough space in this box to tell you how much of a lawsuit this would bring in. Fines, Penelties and Jail OH MY!

with all the money spent on " donations" you'd think the server hardware would be some top notch equipment. Server racks, TB's of space. Obsceen GB's of Ram. And the best DNS Anti-attack software out-there. Not to mention cat-6/7 cables for hard lines.

in the end i think we supped up some ones gaming rig, and put money in their pocket.

Am i mad about the money? clearly ( eye my sig) not. I ( like the others) donated to get ahead. we bought something. And if i were banned? I could have every penny revoked.

There is blanket and blanket of lies and fog where truth should be. And Players will suffer because of it. Lets face it, it's not like Carl & Co, Loose out on anything. nothing a server re-roll and a few name changes won't fix.

Carl made his profit,he doesn't give a ****,"hired" Alente just so people won't spam his mails and refund donations due to lame non-updated server.
Karissa,Thank you for ****ing up the ex-Best Aion PServer, which had a great community until you arrived.
I wish there'll be a mass quitting with alot of people that refund their money,so Carl will realize he ****ed up it all.

Carl only promised you credits for your donation. He didn't promise you that the server would always live up to your expectations, or that it would never close down, or that you would be GM forever. So stop QQing that you were ripped off and you totally deserved more for your donation:

It's a ****ing donation.

 

And yet people can still Revoke there donations simple for the fact that full amount of money that was donated never went into the server.

GM forever?! Clearly no one survives GM employment at Gamez. We are either Fired( cause we dont put out/tohot/athreattokari'sestroginelevels/"dont cut it") OR we Quit/Resign. Currently Resigning is a trend.

Like i said, I am not QQ'ing. It is not a donation. It is a purchase. don't Bullshit about it. It is what it is. And what it certifiably is not, is a Donation.

Carl also PROMISED that the donations would improve the server and has on many occasions ( when on) has thanked us for such and told us it went to better hardware for the server. There is no reason that the server should be failing, Right?

Professional staff, Money, and Good Sense. The server should be fine. But it isn't. Which makes me think, some key ingredients are either missing; or ill portioned.

If it was a true donation, ida not donated.

They're free to do so. I'm not arguing that they shouldn't, I'm just saying, the people who QQ about having donated and how they weren't rewarded enough are the idiots who donate purely for the credits. There's no "I donated to help the server" argument to be made here. It's just a bunch of hypocrites who think a donation makes you a shareholder.

I never made the argument that donations went into the server, tbh. I'm just saying, all you were ever promised for donating was credits. Everything else was implied at best.

 

reminds me of the time i flew jetblows and put all my expensive shit under the plane...where i thought it was safe. I got my luggage and they might as well have taken those too! Flight paid for, security implied.


yes they even stole the five pairs of Vicky Seek that i had stuffed for cushioning between my electronics.
