All classes will not have the same chances of winning 1vs1

em people still think to this day and age that aion is 1v1 oriented

Nay. I'm a normal geared player too and I consider that a good gear already. If that is the case, you have to practice more.

 

Only cause the rest are bad. Point is a glad who knows what to do can't kill a temp who knows what to do. Glad is only good here cause it's easy to learn and people are bad at everything. All classes can counter it nowadays.

 

There will always be imbalances, can't avoid that but it was negated by the fact that every class could make game winning plays if they we're smart enough.

 

The feeling that u can't win in 1v1 always
And the feeling that you are going to lose but ur opponent still evading your attacks through hiding on obstacles infinity shard's 1v1 >.<

 

SW and SM are the one who has a big chance to win on 1v1... every 1v1 if some of them saw SW or SM automatically port out..

Honestly with my years of experience in aion in general or specifically gamezaion itself. you just gotta accept that not all classes are created it equal, like really.
but for 1vs1, i think the most important question is, who are you actually dealing with. reason being is, there is just too much to talk about but here are the most
common thing that sets each players apart when it comes to 1v1. if you are dealing with a very gear ass player, then i just gotta tell you the real truth that you just
dont have a chance, like at all if he/she outgears you soo badly, because when a player is sooo gear to the max like most of asmo players are EA +20 lol, they'll kill you in 3-5 hits
so really, where is the freakin skills and years of experience now? right? but however if both players are on the same gear set, thats when the true skills can be display.
though dont be surprise yet cuz like i said before. it depends on who you are dealing with really. in 1vs1 some players play really dirty and will take advantage of whatever they can
like sw kiting in IS or hide behind wall like in tiamat battleground and heal, or like sins who hide every dam fight, not just that but sm who uses skills that transfer dmg to pet.
if you see these players, chances of winning them would be so low unless you are totally freakin gear to the max and ready to take whatever they're gonna throw at you,
1vs1 in gamezaion will never be fair, mostly i blame on the fact that all classes has all skills, i think this is simply the flaw why 1vs1 will never be equal and why a sorc will never feel like
a sorc or a glad will never be a glad again like in retail.

one of the reasons is that every1 got a good gear nowdays, every1 have at last 1 sea set, so that s why u not feel OP as before.

 

i think i will stop apply to 1vs1 event and i hope all peaple are boring by that will do same until op classes are fighting together.

However, gvg is very funny becoz all classes compétences are exploited.

It could be very interesting to have all event auto groups 6v6 whith a distribution of classes :
ex : cleric, glad, templ, sw, chanter, ranger VS cleric, templ, athertec, sm, chanter, sin

 

Iunno, Id prefer to have all my skills reset to full CD every round won or lost.

 

yo....sm ftw then bg for ever well if ppls want rlly good fights, then 1v1/remove and add 2v2 is more cool maybe. vs sm is cool/ full debuff/die/respawn/buff 1'2 things/debuff/dead ...etc is like u fight without a buff vs some1 full buffed. but if u ask me how can be 1v1 improved, is it need a shield for 5/10 sec after each respawn, so the x guy can buff/scroll up .

Well the thing is, in 1v1 only the first fight "counts", after that one person is on low hp while the other is maxed. If we get reset after every kill it would just be the same fight on repeat...



















... not that i would mind, glad cooldowns are way too long for 1v1

Same here. Contented on my bard: SEA +20 set, cleric: Arbiter set >.< I have no problem using those items tho.
