I lost count of how many times I got the error message but the % was increasing everytime retry

the new ncsoft launcher automatically checks and downloads any missing file on your folder... kinda like an auto repair everytime you run it

 

Me i only encounter the "Restart the launcher" thing twice and im on installation but its stuck on 57% but i noticed that the Folder size is increasing.. and my ping is high so i think its still downloading? hmm guess ill just wait..

 

I'm waiting for the NCSlauncher to update my aion to 4.0

Im not sure if is right but my folder at the moment with aion occupies 56gb....

 

mines below 50gb

 

Mine after update is 45.7 ^^

 

after you are done updating run the game once you ge to the log in screen quit and delete $patch$ folder on your aion folder shud reduce the size by nearly half

so when I got the same problem I checked some forums so I realized this :
1. try tu fully unninstal aion updater or launcher and reinstal it
2. if that dont help so remove all ncsoft folders and aion too and start download them again from very start.
3. disable peer-to-peer connection , and if you are from europe try to download EU aion , I can log in in game aion same as West , cuz it is the same . there 3 steps helped me when I gor error message still at 57 %
I had to reinstal nc soft and then aion to for full download ,

 

Extract these folders so that the 1 and Zip folders are in your Patcher's download location.

By default, this is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\$Patch$\2\Patch

If you chose a new location, [YourAionDirectory]\$Patch$\2\Patch

Relaunch the Launcher, then it should update Aion!
