Maybe it's my time zone but I do play a few hours (15 hours). and every day and I never see any AM Events and thats been for a while almost over a month now. I think it would be nice for the players etc if AM's could atlease Host 1 event a week or something even an "guess the word event" can be simple or w.e because zerg pvp does get boring after a while. I see most am's are very active in-forum banning players etc it would be nice if am's were active in-game with events rather then with just problem/bans.

    No offence to the AM's.

I guess it's your timezone. For example, yesterday the AMT Uehara hosted a race VS race event, which was quite fun. You must have missed it :p

a good solution to that would be if events (even small events) were on a schedule or even if AM's could inform people via the forums several hours before the event takes place...
zerg pvp does get boring extremely fast so people usually hate missing events and this could prevent it.

AM's can't inform people before the event takes place, especially the AMTS. They are depended on whether they will get permission from the SAM or not. And for example at that event time, one of the AMS can't log in due to some real problems, what would you do?! I don't really think schedule is a good idea. They host events whenever they have free time, they have much more to do: Deal with hackers, answer all this in-game related questions, help newbies and other.

I agree! like each am takes a turn on certain day/time this benefits all players over the world with different time zones.

See, the thing about informing people about events before they happen like that, is that the events themselves turn into massive zergfests. I've done this before personally, and believe me, it gets so much worse than open world PVP you kinda just look at it and are like, well shit

I have to agree! but maybe if the players weren't informed? Like just for staff members to see.

Although events are part of the structure of the game , they are not as much important as player-friendly actions (like, answering to questions, helping players with bugs/issues, dealing with reports, catching hackers/abusers and so on).
Thinking about the meaning of the word "Event", we can notice that it is used to define an unusual and rare happening (positive or negative) which generally involves a lot of participants (depending on the situations). So, if Aion Masters host events continiously, the definition itself might even loose it meaning, and possible participants might get bored because those "events" are not real events anymore, but common happenings of everyday.
To sum it up and close this, Aion masters are free to choose to host events or not, depending on how buisy we are. Players are free to send us a pm requesting kindly to host an event, but thats all.
Now, i wish you a nice day.
