Amicable 1v1s - how it should be.

I'm writing this in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.

It started off as any other Heiron encounter, with jumping the opposing race and getting some AP, but I've made it a habit to ask anyone for 1v1s in hopes that Asmodians would comply. Luckily today, they did.

It started off strong, with many good 1v1s and even this consensual 2v1, with two of the glads vs myself:



Even here, where they could've easily outnumbered us, everything stayed friendly and respectable:



Eventually, we got a couple of more Elyos to come out, and still everything was fine and we all enjoyed friendly duels:



People continued to gather from both sides, numbers swelling, yet everyone adhered to the imaginary honor system, requesting duels and counting down for both people participating to be prepared:



And just like that, everything was ruined. Kingodmatiias, Incongruciea, Saee, and other members from KONOHA destroyed everything by jumping in and catching the Asmodians off guard. Every Elyos who was there before enjoying the friendly contest just stood by helpless, not being able to help the Asmodians fight them off. Even while we constantly shouted to KONOHA that it was 1v1s, they still attacked the confused Asmodians who didn't know what was going on. Of course, all we could do is apologize for the idiotic behavior of the few bad apples. The KONOHA members were apathetic:




I'm hoping that, in all PvP areas, more Elyos and Asmodians will ask for duels. It is infinitely better than this:

The anti-zerg movement starts with YOU. YOU have to take the extra step to show good will towards your fellow gamer. That's not to say it can't be competitive, but at least we can showcase skill over numbers; respect over contempt. Honestly, which would you prefer?

Decent players can get fair pvp ....

But with majority of people being honorless players this dream won´t come true ..

Thats cool, Although my only issue with that is that dueling really doesnt show skill mostly due to the fact that you'll duel with cooldowns ready to go and what not and based on class and skills can turn the outcome of a fight in the blink of an eye. Small example is a glad vs sin, glad gonna pop ud and u can basically say bb to the sin in a duel situation. Nice that you managed this but I dont call that pvp.

 

Boolean algebra is not fun.

On topic, yes, I love it when I can get together with some cool elyos on my asmo or vise-versa and have some nice duels for AP.

It's nice to know that 1v1s actually happen but in a game like this, 1v1s are a luxury.

 

1v1's aren't enough for me.

I need at least 4 to be mildly entertained and put my grapefruit down.

Maybe next time u can post the original pict with 1231312 elys around + hero zerg...u can blame Divinity and OB legion for zergs.

 

What you're trying to say is that an organized legion raid in the opposing map is a zerg? Not really good sir. We seldom kill elyos in our own maps, maybe if we are alone or less than 6 and without a cleric. We give 1v1s no more because as you said Kingodmatiias ruined your fun as to what they did to us before, utterly zerging 6 people down with 20 while we watch an interesting 1v1 of Flowx/LC member and an elyos who I already forgot their names.

I've never even seen you in Gelkmaros or Beluslan, the only people I respect in elyos in pvp are Ryuzi, Std, Sagacity and Nyerk Force(saw ur legion. . . lol, maybe just a few Nyerk Force) that PvPs where the Asmodians are not where you expect asmodians to go in your own map. Oh, and ask for 1v1 and expect that no elyos/asmodian will ruin it or rush in without knowing its a 1v1. Because they DON'T ever happen anymore.

 

Trying to belittle people into playing YOUR way instead of the way the game was designed wont change a thing.

If you want some 'fair' 1v1, sit in town in duel.

 

LoL. . . If only I am on my desktop I'll take screenshots of the thread maker that he duels in sanctum and stays in his own map(Inggison/Heiron obviously, wonder why the screenshots are taken there? Because he stays there "Soloing" but actually looking for loner asmos that wants to pvp in the opposing map), but I still liked what you've done here. Thumbs up for my friends in ARMAGEDDON!

i hate him trashtalking saying noobs in the middle of zergs..>.<
but in 1 on 1 he sux..

 

Yesterday I saw him alone. . . I was running with Novaxia on his asmo, and I was like whaaaat? Prelu alone. . . then Joooey came and then it was 2v2, 2 plates vs 2 clothies. I was like oh interesting, but then my Dispels was resisted because of the stupid bug. He survived for a minute, I think we almost killed Jooey and him half-life then his zerg came q.q I was almost surprised and happy he was goin alone(on full buffs) meh again shocked in awe

 

Psh novaxia is a clown as well, first he dies in 1v1 and then he dies in 2v1 (turkishawe + him) and then he runs away in 1v1 at 1/10 hp and tries to zerg me later on. After all this failed he logged his elyos to massively flame me and give excuses as to why he lost (even saying i was a noob for using curse of weakness even though i only used it in his 2v1 with turkishawe + him vs me AFTER he used it first on me.)
