    SUMMARY:

    Uhh..I'd usually rather prefer to have a mini-series than something ongoing, to be honest

    Sure, it sucks for an anime to end fast, but its also great. Short animes are perfect for delivering the story and keeping you entertained during that story, but when it keeps going and going and going you just tend to lose interest. I do anyway.

    Some animes can pull off an on-going thing, but imo a lot more of them should be miniseries and just cut it off while its good instead of keep on going and ruining the greatness that it had.

    Imagine if Code Geass hadn't ended. What would happen? They'd just have to keep finding more ridiculous ways for Lelouch to get out of situations, and more ridiculous uses for Geass.
    "My geass has the ability to destroy the world HAHAHAHAHA WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THAT, LELOUCH?" <- That would be ****ing dumb. I'm glad it ended when it did. Hell, I'm glad Elfen Lied ended when it did, even if it was only 13 episodes and I was pissed for a bit when it ended because I wanted more, but in the end I'm glad that it gave me the enjoyment that it did and stopped before I started to dislike it.


    edit: Think of Death Note too, they should've ended it at 25 when -SPOILER THING THAT I WONT SPOIL- happened, but they didn't. They changed the story to keep going and you know what? That is the reason Death Note is no longer in my favorites. I loved it up until everything changed, then I just disliked the rest.

    It has to follow the manga.
    For such an adored manga series to have a drastically different ending than its anime child, fans won't accept it.

    I agree with u but its not the same for all the animes... Take for example one piece, one of the greatest animes in the world. They somehow make it very interesting and attractive because they have the imagination to and make it 1st anime. Btw from now on one piece will beat the top 3 of all the animes because of new world and the new powers each of the straw hat pirates obtained.

    I hate One Piece ._. and the animations are terrible D:
    Sure they must have a lot of imagination, but honestly I don't really agree with them taking it as far as they did, should've ended a long time ago.
