I personally haven't watched it, since I read the Manga before the anime started I was gonna wait til it finished so I could marathon it. I guess I gotta go download it now, huh

 

the anime is garbage compared to the manga, trust me you're going to rage they skipped so much.

 

... srsly? well that's lame. for some reason I have the feeling of wanting to watch a Shoujo anime. Something like Yumeirro Patissierre or something like that. No clue why.

 

To be honest I have a feeling they are going to make a remake like hunter x hunter.

 

Meh. I just want another decent Mecha anime

I didn't like Akame ga Kill when it started but as I kept following the show I started to like the fact that they're taking the risk of killing main characters for the sake of the story's progress. I don't read the manga so I can't tell how good or how bad the show adapted it but base solely on what I've watched I would say it's at least above average.

Final episode's OST has been amazing and the fight between Akame and Esdeath is well choreograph, it was so free instead of following a certain discipline.

I just hope none from the production team or the author himself gets killed or threatened by someone from the hardcore fan-base for killing their favorite character.

 

Who knows, but as far as I know this is like the only anime where the MC dies. And, like, doesn't come back to life. At all.

Well, technically Akame is really the main character if you have to pick just one. The show being named after her is just one thing to prove that. Other shows I've watched where the main character died are:

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom - Zwei

There are probably a few more that I forgot.

 

Hmm true but both Lelouch and Setsuna have been teased at to them still being alive, Lelouch living as a farmer in the countryside with CC and Setsuna become some super coordinator or something that eventually lives with that princess, which is right at the end of Gundam 00: The Trailblazer.

But yeah, there are a few it seems. Completely forgot about Phantom lol, that was one of the first anime I watched. I thought watching Z die was hard, and then I watched Berserk.

Never again.

 

Although CG's creator said it himself that Lelouch has indeed died in the final episode, there are just way too many arguments with proofs on the net that says otherwise but as one of the fans, I'd prefer if he is actually dead because that's what makes the ending one of the best out there.

I forgot that part about Setsuna, so basically what happened to him is that his physically body died but he's consciousness still lies around to guide humanity, something like what happened to Tieria. You can kill his physical body but his consciousness can be transferred to another body, both case with the help of Veda, is that it? But I don't think Marina actually gets to live with Setsuna o.o

And what you mean about Berserk? Is it what Griffith did to Casca?

 

yeah, that was fucked up. I was like 12 when I watched that. Was terrible.

Uhmm I don't think Setsuna did that with the help of Veda, the whole point of the Coordinators was to become a higher existence or something like that. I'm pretty sure that's just what happened to Setsuna. He "Evolved".

I just thought I'd share this since it was a nice read for me just because Ulquiorra is one of my favorite characters in Bleach alongside Byakuya and Grimmjow. This one is very detailed. Hopefully I can find something like this again but instead about Grimmjow.

Its a tragic anime, everyone dies and it feels bad lol. I wished for tatsumi and akame to end up together.
