Annolisa Amity Reset

so, it’s been a long time since I’ve had to do amity to get knowledge from Annolisa in Calpheon. That being said, I just did the long, time-consuming amity game to gain 500 amity to buy knowledge on Muskan. After getting the knowledge, which was C, I used to pearl shop item to reset my knowledge on him. I went back to Annolisa’s shop to buy it again and her amity was reset to zero!

Is this normal? I don’t remember anything like this on retail, but, as I’ve stated, it’s been a while. Do I have to really gain 500 amity each time I want to buy knowledge on Muskan? I’ve scoured every forum and site I can find to try and answer this question, before coming here, with no luck.
