AP System Suggestion

Hi to everyone...

I need to know whats the real use of AP right now apart of getting Pots and sh** Armor?

Well... my suggestion is that we need an AP restart everymonth to promote PVP. right now many people on both side doesnt want to go PVP cuz they dont want to lose AP. I only saw a big PVP here before the UPDATE when asmos were going to Inggi and in the begging of UPDATE when Elyos were going to GELK side. but right now u have to be moving, hunting from 1 side to another to try catch 1 opponent... thats not nice when this suppost to be a hight PVP server.

So.. i dont know why u have to protect AP? for a rank? so everytime that some1 kick ur *ss to everybody knows that u r a ho**... nahh i prefer to be on soldier rank 9:tongue:....

So.. my suggestion is this... everymoth an AP restart but a the same time.. the 1 of each side who finish on top everymonth receive 1 Weapon or 1 armor part.

I have a feeling that could be taken advantage of in a few different ways.

 

not that i don't like your idea, i make a living getting APs from higher ranks, purchasing abyss stuff then trading it, i don't mind at all i'm sure people will get their APs up in no time every restart but that doesn't really solve the problem there, it just stays there then it returns every now and then.

also if your tired of running around, just stick some place where asmos/ely frequently pass by.

not the best idea but not bad.

 

advantage??? how??? cuz right now even u cant transform in general, i think u cant get the GBG or ABG from shops, even if u can get them u need Platinum medals and right now u cant get them easily cuz people r not on PVP near the vurnerable forts. so.. how?? cuz for me right now the APs r only for Pots, not else..

 

as i said i make a living out of it. 100k+ APs a day can get me 50e sets in no time. then trade for ABG... so simple.

 

Well if the faction that came out on top at the end of the month got a prize, you'd really need to think about how many players are getting a free item, and how many people might maybe make characters just to farm those prizes. Something like that would take ages to implement and be accepted. It's not a bad idea, it does give incentive to pvp more, but I dunno if it'd be able to be put into action any time soon.

 

lol GBG or ABG are only bought in the shop.... nowhere else xD..

I mean shops in game like in Inggi that u go there and they show the Armors and weapons there but u cant get them.

 

thats why i said just 1 on each side to prevent this type of activities... and only 1 part or weapon... so if u want the full set u need to work out really hard... but at least u have something for PVP...

 

it just promotes zerging more which makes it worst.

if you gain enough AP a day you get more than 1 abg part each month.

you just need to find a happy place for you to stay there and kill everyone that passes.

 

so.. with this system... players like u doesnt lose anything cuz u keep spending ur APs... or how u said that u get more than 100k everyday u r going to be a lucky 1 with an ABG weapon or Armor part.

the problem right now is that people is too focus on keeping APs and they forgot that this server is for having PVP, this is a game to have Fun.. not to be worried about how much APs im gonna lose if I die...

Imagine many people like me work or go to school and when they come to gamez is too forget about the daily problems and enjoy the time here... but its not nice when u can spend 2 or 3 hours of game and 95% of the time u r moving, flying, running from un place to another tryin to catch a PVP, when this is suppost to be a high rate PVP server..

well like i said, it won't solve anything, those people who care about AP will always be there... you can't change that... as i'm saying the price to get to the top just promotes zerging not really a good/healthy way to pvp...

i don't mind the wipe, i could probably gain the same amount, but i'm saying with enough knowledge where to camp you can still have fun...

Well i can tell that those people that care about APs now,they were at the begining of the UPDATE on the front line on PVP, thats why when u have 0 APs u go and PVP with no worries, now they dont PVP that much.. only on zerg....

and with enough knowledge Camping its not allowed but still people do it.. its not nice where u appear in a kisk or obelisk or transport to find elyos/asmos waiting for u, and dont have the chance to defend urself or attack right..

 

it may solve the cowardice but the zerging would be greater.

camping in my definition implies a place where i can camp and hunt people soloing/duo or farming group. not really in front of kisk. thats just gay. why would i farm APs if i'm going to camp their kisk... lol. thats just stopping pvp.

 

I agree with u... but dont be surprise that type of gay camping is cmon... Im a ranger in elyos side.. i like to do Solo hunting... and i have many prints screen of those Asmos big names(High Rank) camping together in eastern shard, waiting for easy APs, imagine 10 to 15 asmos high ranked waiting for 1 elyos to teleport there... the same happen from Asmos to Elyos side... elyos waiting for asmos... that happen on both sides... But what im trying to promote are those big wars that we used to have before.... many elyos going to gelk, or many asmos going to inggi.. wars that last more than 1 hour..... ex: 1 day i used 2 kisk cuz i got killed more than 20 times ;-)...

 

i don't like massive pvp... or rather zerging... or ping pong zerging... that's lame. if i liked that i would have sticked to Rising Force.
