Yes you need best items on your ranger if you want to wipe out lots of enemies on your way!

 

is it really impossible to kill the archdaeva with the starter gears? if so, mind telling me what to do or where i go? im new to this

 

Hi there!
It's not impossible it's just that it 's been tweaked a bit to make it hard. You can first try to upgrade your gear or you can buy proctor or arbiter gear from Kaisinel's Academy/ Marchutan's Priory. I believe the reason why you can't surpass this is because there's a monster that releases a skill that can one hit you. Try to use evasive skills or shields. For scout classes try to use focused evasion but try to time it right. If you're a mage/ muse class try to make sure that your shields are in cool down before you attack the monster. Usually the monster will be able to take like half of your HP with a shield.

it depends on how you do your skill combo and also what class they are and i guess there is only a 30% chance of killing them with your own combo without help of anyone else

 

^ I have this problem as well.. I just made my first characters early this morning started with Spirit Master and got 1 hit by a golem... After a couple of tries I quit and made a Gladiator and somehow finished the entire quest. But I really want to play as a Spirit Master so I was hoping if someone can give me some advise as to how I can complete the quest without getting 1 hit.
