Yeah, I played Harani is ze betas. Only thing I find weird is their first mount.

 

Fuck all the racial mounts anyway, you either get the PvP tiger, a bear, or that one flappy eared farm animal thing

 

And here we found your problem. The key word here is Laptop. Unless you shell out a shit ton of money, you're not gonna be able to play a game like Archeage on a laptop.

My suggestion, make a blog with all your cosplay photos and when you get lot of followers, start a donation page to buy a new comp. Add in like you also want a new camera and if you make your goal you'll be able to upload more pics. That will get the people racing to gieb u moniez, then you go and get the parts for a good gaming PC and then buy me a second a video card so I can run an SLI set up on mine.

Do what I said in my last post here. Make a facebook account or even a crappy wordpress/blogspot/tumblr site with pics of you in your various cosplay outfits looking all cute. Horny kids and pervy gais will see them and you gain tons of followers. Ask for donations with a link to your paypal or whatever on your site or even make a gofundme account and they WILL donate.

I've done this before with fake accounts and pics of girls from places like imagefap, a "real" girl should be able to make a fucking fortune.

Archeage thread in general discussion but this one gets moved to hot spam, logic. IS IT SO HARD TO LEAVE MY THREADS ALONE?

Anyway, Harani is the more likely choice on which faction we would go, but please tell if you disagree. Now, we need a name, I'll look into servers. Please start helping with a name.

 

You owe me for my awesome advice. I want a Geforce GTX 760 video card so I can SLI it with my current one and have TONS OF GRAPHICS! My comp will be very graphics, much wow. And then the only thing left would be to overclock my processor.

Maybe we need to start up the colon cancer funding again.


As for factions, I don't know the differences between them so more info on that would help but I probably wouldn't mind either one unless one has spiderbear mounts, or catgirl hideouts, then we HAVE to choose that one.

Nuian's are the more basic humanoid faction, they get western (think England) humans and Elves. At some point in the future they'll also be getting Dwarves.
Their main cities are Marianople, which is basically London, and a giant castle overlooking a harbor, which might actually remind you of King's Landing.
The majority of level 30-40 zones are on the western continent. They also get a VERY nice bonus to sea trade because Eastern ports are very open while the top half of the Western continent has a much smaller area which ships have to pass through, thus any Eastern ships trying to trade are much more likely to be spotted and killed while entering this bottleneck, while Western ships have no bottle neck while trading with Eastern continent.

However, most of the Western safe zones are not well connected with water. They're not bad either, but not great.

Harani on the other hand have Asian humans and cat humanoids. In a later expansion they are getting a large demon-like brute race.
Their cities are generally larger than the western cities, and as such they have 2 low-level Indian style cities (think Taj Mahal golden dome roof style architecture), a completely asian city which is a sea port, as well as having an island in the middle of the port for housing. It is full of cherry trees. Finally, there's a somewhat more industrial city, including an area with prostitutes. It is also on the coast.
The level 40-50 zones are mostly concentrated on the Eastern continent, overall its much larger because of this.

As mentioned above, the Eastern coastline is much more open (except for one zone which has cliffs on the coast) and has no bottleneck, so this is good for leaving the harbors, but not so much trading with some parts of the Western continent.

However, most safe-zone areas on the Eastern continent are quite well connected to the ocean.

The reason I mention safe-zone areas is because you cannot be attacked on your farm in safe zones. They are a great place to grow your expensive crops or to make trade packs, since people won't be able to kill you while you get to your boat.


In summary, the races and city preference are all based on your personal preferences, but I think the two major things to take away as far as PvP gameplay goes is
-Nuians have to walk further to get to the shore if they wish to do have their farms in safe zones (trade packs also give a movement speed decrease)
-Nuians have a bottle-neck when leaving most of the major safe-zone harbors. Anyone leaving the bottle-neck into open ocean is more likely to be spotted by enemies. This goes both ways. For Harani, it could be Nuian enemies or pirates. For Nuian's, it could still be pirates for them. The bottle-neck is both a gift and a curse.

-Harani can get to the ocean very easily in almost all of their safe zones
-Their ports are open and easy to leave unspotted, but trading to Nuia is much more tricky

-Both races get a level 30 non-safe zone, but after that:
-Nuia has non-safe zones which are much closer to the water, except for one
-Haranya has non-safe zones which are all very far inland. They are not good for ocean trading.
KEEP IN MIND that non-safe zones are usable by BOTH FACTIONS so even if a zone you want to use is in Nuia and you're Harani, you can still use it as long as its not a safe zone.

i am sorry but i have to say that game SUCKS i plaied the beta and it wasn't interesting at all full bugs.they might change it but still sucks.It's worst than AION europe[trust me if you plaied on eu aion you will suicice]
also it's like firefall full with bugs and also eu ppl can't play that game.Last it's very complicated you will need to learn that game about the skills,etc

Open Beta is way different it has all current features and not beta limits and stuff so u cant really judge it....yet~
