Archon Brigade General's Longbow vs. Tahabata

the new weapon will be +0 and have the manastones/slots of both weapons

im not sure there is an extendable bow, which means its a moot point to not get the 55 bow

What is an extendable weapon?
Extendable weapons are for melee'ers in AION, they function the same as a normal weapon does, but they extend (Shock horror) which means they have twice the range of normal weapons. Since melee classes can have a problem with kiting, a lot of people opt for extendable weapons (Even over Abyss weapons) to help prevent it. Every melee class can get extendable weapons; Clerics, Chanters, Gladiators, Templars and Assassins.



How do you get these weapons?
Some places it's unknown where you get certain weapons from (1.5 added quite a few new weapons in), mainly they are from drops off world bosses, or in dungeons such as Fire Temple, but some may also be crafted.

I see. So if anyone reading this thread pondering what pvp bow should he/she get, the answer is: Archon Brigade General's Longbow, cuz it has a bit more dmg and accuracy than Elite Archon Tribunus' Longbow, and some more crit rate too. Though keep your taha bow for pve

So I have a question I know its out of topic but since you guys are comparing weapons here uhm which spear is suitable for my glad? cause I don't want to waste my hard earning points. could someone help me please :love:

Archon tribunus longbow is actually superior to the archon brigade general bow.

why? well... the archon brigade general has higher base attack, but elite archon tribunus has +30 attack in its stat bonuses that puts its attack at almost the exact same as the brigade general bow. the only difference is a little accuracy and a little extra crit which is completely negligible.

the tie breaker is that when you go to combine the bows when armsfusion is fixed, that 30 bonus attack will carry over to the main bow while the archon brigade general bow would give the exact same bonuses except accuracy instead of that superior attack.

 

Good point, I was thinking the same, but I think I'll still get the Archon Brigade General's Longbow, and will get a Tribunus later just for armsfusion. Its kinda waste of AP or creds, but no one knows for sure when armsfusion is gonna work, so maybe a week or maybe a month. If I vote I can get 100 points a day, so in a month thats about 3k points. But if I knew that armsfusion would work in a few days I'll most likely get the Tribunus.
