Are some SM skills bugged?

Hi all!
Can some body tell me if these skills below should be like this or are they bugged?

SM skill Bind : Its has a sword on the skill pic, should this skill bind the enemy or as somebody say blind them as the godstone does? I can't seem to get any effect from it at all.

SM skill Silence: This skill works great against magic class char but against melee type chars it doesnt seem to do anything because the can still skill? Should melee chars also be silenced?

SM skill Hand of tarpoor: On this skill it says it should put somebody to sleep for 20seconds but in game the effect from this skill only lasts 4 seconds. Why is the effect only 4 seconds and not as it says on skill 20seconds??

Silence only affects certain melee class skills, Hand of torpor's duration is reduced against players, As for bind are you refering to body root?

 

Body Root (Which is what Bind would be) Will Stop the use of Physcial Skills and slow movement speed.

Silence, will only effect the use of magical skills (Cleric, Chanter(some), SM, Sorc) The other classes have physical attacks which will not be effected by the Silence effect, however some of their skills will be unable to be used.

Hand of Topor, the Sleep effect as Frostie said, is reduced slightly against players and also breaks upon being hit with another skill.

 

Correction: Body Root doesn't slow movement speed, just binds the target (can't use physical skills).
The Binding Word Stigma Skill from Chanters Bind + Slow Movement.

 

No the skill that only says Bind.

Chanter's all attacks are physical

only Smite I is magical which is full useless cause its only a lvl 1 skill which on a lvl 55 full abg player hit maybe 50dmg and get resisted 9/10 times

Infernal Blaze I is the same like Smite (the stun effect works like 1/10 times, but the dmg is crap too)

so both are useless skills

 

cool.. i think SM is not the only class has bugged skills... like for templar the terrible howl, doom lure, wings of prayer(forgot the name) and also the provo. shield bash...

 

Body Root doesnt work at all..
All melee classes can still use melee skills!
The best dedence skill for SM is bugged.. 0.o
No wonder not more ppl play Sm when skills not working or have been nerfed.. =((
