    We loose half players in 2 months.>
    Why ?

    -> Aion Ascend yes, But not only.

    Update are really uninteresting,


    We give you suggestions, you ignore them.
    We ask you for PvP BGs. You put up a Zombie thing that isn't even fun.

    Clerics are at a disadvantage for the new medals. Healing to obtain medals only works on Akaron.

    When will you finally wake up? It's a good server, but the more days go by, the more we lose players because you don't listen.

    There are multiple reasons.
    -Aion is really old, like really really old.
    -4.8 is a really old patch, like really really really old.
    -for how old it is, server policies (tradeability etc.) are more restrictive than some NCSOFT hosted servers out there right now.
    -for being a PvP server, accessibility to gear is really vanilla. not in a good way.
    -despite using Active Anti-Cheat, the client is still vulnerable to client-side hacking, which ruins the game for everyone who's not cheating. the bots you see walking around farming APES are using the same program that's used to noani the f out of you during PvP. all despite Active Anti-Cheat.
    -it also doesn't help that a staff member is currently accused of certain problematic behavior that another former staff member has been accused of in the past during the Katalam/Danaria days. Whether these accusations are true or not cannot be verified, but the reputation damage is there regardless of whether these claims are true or not. This wasn't the first time such accusations were raised, either.. (I don't think they are true, but if they are, please somebody tell Carl and the person involved they should ask a lawyer how this situation could go very very wrong very very quickly.)
    -people are getting rewarded for AFKing. what in the actual f?

    But what else is wrong exactly?
    One could argue that it is the "I don't owe you sh*t" attitude of certain staff members towards people who are (potentially) paying customers who are contributing to keeping the server alive out of generosity.
    There might also be people who feel like the technical capabilities of staff members aren't what they used to be. (granted, people wouldn't like to do dev work for free)
    Or that stuff is seemingly implemented without proper prior testing.
    Yet others could argue that it is the generally toxic and undermoderated and immature playerbase that can never be satisfied and complains about anything and everything.

    When looking at the state of the server from a technical standpoint (because that's what I'm qualified to do as someone who plays with aion emus and client files as a hobby), there are super easy QoL changes that can be made with relatively low effort due to how customizable the BA emu is. There's so much untapped potential.

    All in all, I really hope the server can make it because I really like it despite its current flaws.
    This community accompanied me throughout pretty much all of my professional career ever since 2013 and gave me some good laughs during times that were rather grim.

    to me there are several things that make players leave.

    1. How easy it is to gain the best gear. This includes enchanting / socketing etc
    • I am not saying gearing is hard, but enchanting blows and for those who don't have hours on hours to farm or money to spend for gear from other players it puts people off.
    • Getting AA armor is super randomized and it cost 2k coins and that w/o VIP takes like 2.5 days AFKing in game to get. I have stayed AFK to try and get it, got over 16k coins, out of that 16k i got 1 armor box, 5 weapon boxes and 2 acc boxes
    • B4 this update we had players with over +30 gear some obtained via events i'm told and others worked and farmed to get some higher. Some of these players also enchanted gear the previous season b4 rates were decreased (which should have never been done)
    • Gear is not good for new players. Sure we get a new r1 pvp eternal set, but it can only go to +13 and can't be Evo'd to get higher. It's great for using to extract AP, but not worth using otherwise. You also get BM gear, but again it's not even worth it when majority of players are in r1 mythic, HM or AA gear.
    • the new medals. I was out for a couple hours in Akaron on MOnday got over 95 kills with my group and got 8 medals, if we should be getting a medal every 5 kills something isn't adding up right. But yesterday in Akaron I got 8 medals in 35 kills. Something just don't seem right
    2. How toxic is the player base.
    • I have seen Sohnata be toxic and tell ppl who aren't geared to uninstall the game if they were going to queue for the BGs and not have gear / do dmg. This is not fair to people who are trying to get medals/apes or shugo coins. There are pre-made BGs (unless removed) that if you are worried about who is queuing you can just do that.
    • There have been other players as well that talk shit and have just been toxic.
    • players that dual client and hunt for elyos/asmo to see where the most people are at. THis has always been a thing on ANY Pserver
    • Players giving crap because a chanter don't want to "support" or a cleric don't want to "support" if they want to play the game as DPS let them there is no need to give anyone crap with how THEY want to spend their time. If you want a "Support" in your group ask for it not just cleric/chanter.
    3. Stigma System vs Non
    • Many players hate the full skills and prefer the stigma system, and those are the players we are seeing now, and we are seeing a "skill" difference in everyone with the current changes
    • many players however do not like the enchanting on the stigmas, losing the one you are enchanting + the other is not right. I swear this isn't supposed to be a thing. The rate at which you fail is crazy with or w/o VIP.
    • I have opened 100 bundles and got 3 chanter skills, like what? I really feel these bundles should be based on the class you are for what is in there. especially if we are losing both stigmas.
    • I got used to the full skills, but also hated it.
    4. BattleGrounds Suck sometimes
    • Rewards suck and need to be updated depending the difficulty of it.
    • the "randomness" of it also sucks, getting teams with no heals, or 3 heals or w/e it is, there should be some sort of structure to balance it a lil bit.
    • There should be a way for the losing team to forfeit so the match ends and rewards are given to both sides, because if the team gets wiped in 30s in they just afk the 4 mins remaining and that takes time away from requeuing.
    I do like the server, i have been playing on and off since 2010, I have seen the progress, the drama and the just the overall good times. This server like any other server that uses Java has it's issues and no matter what is done there will ALWAYS be someone that will complain about it.

    Changes I feel that could help:

    1. No more AFK rewards, have GC come from farming bosses, battlegrounds, instance etc.
    2. Increase enchanting rates back to what they were
    3. update the stigma bags to either be selectable for your class or just random for your class, but no more can get any class stigmas. Since they are tradeable in act WH this can be done
    4. Fix the new Medals, allow the medals to come from doing Sieges just like the HM. You must be on it and you auto obtain them.
    5. Geodata issues. more times i have seen temps pull players through terrain that they shouldn't be able to be pulled through or up onto ledges etc.
    Honestly I think the server is overall decent, but Aion came out in 2008 it has almost been 20 years, This being the only NA server out there, I feel the population is fine especially since most of our players aren't in NA.

    Since i wanna be part of the solution :

    These changes need to be done yesterday .

    - Better rewards for all the portals . Remove the nonsense materials plus kunax gears lol .
    - Add more ways of obtaining the new medals.
    - Be more friendly(actually be best friends) to the ppl outside of the US .
    - Each region's prime time should have had things to do .
    - Add proxies .
    - Do something about the newcomers , if we have any. Give em decent gear to pvp with !(enchanted plus lvl 60 manastones) Not having to farm for 3 months .It feels good being decent while farming for that extra strong set , rather than dying in 2 hits.

    ...and many more , but lets start from somewhere ..

    all am seeing is people that wants to gear in a week and then what, you got boresd because you have nothing to do in the game, you cant expect that newcomers gears up in a month when there are players that have spend more than 2 to be geared


    Also a month ago the stigma bags where introduced, if you have been playing for a month, you should have the basic stigmas you are going to use,

    Thankfully, I was running around with my duo last night and we were getting medals each time we killed somebody, mind you, it seems they updated it so only the person who gets the kill gets a medal, not sure how the contribution for heal chanters/clerics works currently, as I was running around in DPS stigmas last night but before it was pretty good for healers in my opinion, I was getting more medals than my group members just by healing lmao.

    As far as I am aware, the biggest issue currently, if it hasn't been fixed yet, is that healers apparently do not get heal contribution in the .pvp map, which definitely sucks.

    For GamezCoin, make mob kills around your level give 1 coin each and nerf/remove AFK reward. Since GamezCoin is used to buy things like consumables, AA Chest (random item) and Apes/Evos, this would work well. You can adjust pricing as needed. This will allow new players to have more control on their rate of advancement for gear.

    If you still want an AFK reward, then make a different currency and make its purpose for buying remodels. Add some new chest that contains hundreds of different remodels so this AFK reward will just be used for an RNG chance at cool skins and you should farm mobs for useful items purchased with GamezCoin. This will still keep the economy alive as skins will be sold for apes/evos as well so you will still have players AFK'ing for the currency.

    Update Siege/PvP Boss to reward Dream Medals as well as continue to reward Honourable Medals. You can keep Dream Medals out of TvT rewards for now.

    Most of all, do SOME testing to the changes you are thinking of making BEFORE making them. The constant back peddling from updates is ridiculous and embarrasing. You guys add new starter gear accessories with up to +7 and within a few hours you back peddal on your decision after seeing it was a bad one and cap them to +5. SAME EXACT THING just happened with new Dream Medal Accessories being +10 and within hours being changed to +5. Just do SOME testing.

    I'm not saying i want gear week 1 or week 2 etc, I mean getting 2 star gear you can get in a couple of days with the BGs giving medals and such, but the gear isn't the best, but you can upgrade it to the mythic r1, so also it's not bad starter set. If you go out and PvP you can also get Kunax and 2 star gear so it's not horrible at all. I'm just saying that some things they did like reducing the enchanting rates didn't help and I know plenty who hate the reduction of it and some who have quit.

    As for the stigmas, I had been farming as I said (in an example) i opened over 100 bundles and only got 3 stigmas for chanter and they weren't even useful. If we are going to lose both equipped stigma and the other one than something needs to be done about the bundles to make sure you get your class stigmas.

    Nice i don't have duo partner really to speak of. But I did manage to kill a sin (someone else also showed up) and got 1 medal. It just feels random. I have ALWAYS wanted a server where you PvP to get medals and such. So I am hopeful things will change. I love this idea and i don't mind the farm of it, just would like sieges or something else to give a lil more.

Here’s how we can spice things up and potentially draw players back whether through events or a revitalization of game features.

    1. Introduce New Remodels for Gear (Fashion Overhaul)
    Since you're specifically mentioning that version 4.8 feels outdated, one of the most impactful ways to get people excited again is by introducing new item remodels especially if the gear aesthetics haven't been updated for a while.

    • Revamp Current Gear with New Looks: Add new remodels for the most popular and iconic gear sets. For example, if certain armor sets are well-loved but old, give them a more modern or fantasy-driven redesign, and release them as exclusive remodels.
    • Themed Remodels Based on Events: Tie these remodels to seasonal events like Halloween, Christmas, or even GamezAion-specific anniversaries. Think of armor that has glowing runes for an ancient magical look, or a dark gothic set for Halloween.
    2. Events to Revive Player Activity

    I dont know why you guys hated the afk rewards? even if you remove the rewards the other player will still be in afk because they also needs go to work to pay their internet and electricity bills!
