Armsbreaking 2.7

After the 2.7 update you can no longer armsbreak items.
I tried breaking my ABG staff fused to a masta, failed.
A friend tried to break a masta orb fused to an ABG, failed.

I will provide screenshots tomorrow, I'm too sleepy to do it now, but wanted to bring the issue up befor eI went to bed.

Preferably one made by the staff, for the staff.

I highly doubt this is a bug.
Doy you have the latest items.pak installed?

 

Is there anyway you can //add something for yourself and test it? or fuse two lvl 20 items.

If you can break something, then update the thread.

 

I broke one of my staffs yesterday that is why I ask.
Haven't broken anything else besides that.
Which items.pak are you using?

 

item.pak shouldn't matter should it because arms breaking is part of the game.

 

It happened to me too. I just relogged and It wasnt combined anymore. :3

It does matter specially if it an abg combine.
Without the item pack it will alway give you an error (At least it used to before)

I had a couple of reports on it aswell yesterday but they all were able to arm break once they installed the items.pak
Might want to check that or try relogging and see if that helps.

 

technically that isnt accurate, the items.pak has a <breakable> parameter in it, however i think its intended for extraction and not armbreaking, there r no combinations within the items.pak

either way, i enabled it for all items

edit: OH armbreaking means 1 of the weapons breaks, thats why it doesnt work without the items.pak, the high value items r "unbreakable" lol

 

Maybe he has Shadez item.pak?

idk whats in his, i havent downloaded/extracted it but i do know high value items r unbreakable, it might affect armbreaking as well since u cant make a high value weapon disappear by default

try..


1: unfusion your weapons in npc.
2: your item still will show "fused"
3: put your item in warehouse(i mean your fused weapon), and after move back to your inventory.
4: enjoy.

well if u have a problem in armsbreaking.mine has a problem remodelling the AQUILON CRYSTAL SHIELD from my abg shield...cannot remodel as they are different items...it was since 2.5 ive been waiting a fix for this and i wanna use this skin stocked in my inventory.

I used both item paks, smarties, and Shadez. Both are not working for me. I used both versions of both.
I can trade untradeables no problem, but I can't break armfused items.

 

Happens to me too, but when I relog it's fine. This should be looked into for people who like to reroll/trade alot. :c
