Asking a GM for //dye with color code

Would it be possible to ask a GM to //dye with color codes?

There are some colors that can't be obtained with petals or dyes... just wondering if this is possible through custom request :sad:

 

They do not dye player armors anymore

 

We don't dye anymore, i dont even have the command.

 

Yeah no one has the command except Admin level GM's I think.

 

beyone lame dye command set to admin lvl!? it should be set to lowest gm lvl all it do is dye color whats the worst thing it can do? armor color changed? i dont see in anyway y its set to admin lvl.

 

they should have the command back so they can dye and maybe have set rules that they only dye during certain times and that everyone who wats to dye should know the EXACT color they want as some colors aren't possible otherwise and a lot of armor can't be dyed even if you use the remodel trick

 

We used this way last time, i created a topic telling people that we were just dyeing people when we announce or tell that is an dye event but people just didn't listen and every second in game that we were on, we got pm about "dye me plz", "plz gm, dye me!!!" and other stuffs.
Is why we closed and probably will not come back.

 

then maybe make clear announcements that dyes will ONLY be used during dye events and any pms for dyes at any other time will result in that person being ported to jail, Ill bet all the pms for dyes will end shortly after that

 

I think the dye system needs to be done so that people can't just ask GMs for the NORMAL dye colors, like blue or white or black or the petal colors. You can get that yourself.

//dye should then be used only for colors you can't get, with the right color codes.

People dont listen, they'll pm you until we stop doing dyes again, just like the people who camp obelisks...they wont stop killing the person who is bugged until you remove them from the area.

 

I HATED having to get a GM to dye me because they could be using using that time for better purposes such as helping players with more important matters or investigating hackers, but I had full Iceblack remodel at the time and couldnt get it dyed otherwise

 

Yeah, that too. //dye should be used for ABG/EGT/EAT armors since they can't be dyed normally.

 

Make dying a part of event.

 

thus the idea of having them ported to jail if they PM at any other time and that warning will be on the autoannounce list
some ppl are stupid but once they realize that PMing a GM for dyes at the wrong only gets them sent to jail, theyll stop doing that

 

tbh, if they did give the //dye command back, if i wasnt forced, i probably wouldnt dye, it took waaay to long to do, and getting 400 whispers ina min for dyes, when 1 was for bug abuse or hackes, that 1 got ignored some of the time. It over worked us, and im glad its gone.

 

make it public like //givemissingskills snice so many ppl want it and it will save gms time snice they say they wanted time to be use for other stuff it wont hurt the game in anyway at ALL

 

they would have to edit it so that it cant be used on other ppl, which would prolly be on the bottom of alente's todo list.

 

Well I mean the //dye would ONLY be used for dye colors that are UNobtainable.

Dyes like blue, white, black, blue, purple, shouldn't qualify for a request for dye.

 

unless its gear that cant be dyed such as the "glowing" pieces like Iceblack/Ebonshell
