i don't think it'll increase flaming at all. on the contrary it might even promote more friendships. i think ncsoft put it for storyline purposes-not to stop flaming.
also about revealing strategy pretty sure almost everyone would have known the equivalent translation of 'stop', 'hold' or 'back' by now. always being said by the opposite race, its hard to miss

You've forgotten that the encryption could be potentially used to block a location giveaway on one side (spying purposes) on retail.

But, since gamezerg's pvp only focuses in Ing, Gelk, and certain Rifts, it becomes useless.

 

Hard to believe anyone would spy on gamez.

I already find it extremely frustrating when the asmo's are in the elyos lfg by a bug. I don't need them to whine in my normal chat as well.

 

i played on a server without encryption, and trust me is not that good as u think. yea u get some benefits but the negative sides will piss u off more than it does now with the translation thing. chat on skype or w/e ur using.

 

I voted no because it is shorter than yes.

 

They should implement the yawn emote as a usable skills when you die in PvP, i would like to express my exasperation at being zerged for the nth time in an hour.

Additionally, and on topic, it is also something that both races can understand.

if this was remove the forum would be flooded with post about flaming and insulting, its already bad if u see ppl that zerg killing some poor ppl and then they stand there and talk shit like they are pro. so no we dont need more reports or work for the small amount of mods we have

 

I have just realized, that when other were shouting on me "good 1vs1, nice pvp " or something like that and I have replyed, that only "asdadasd" came from me .. Need to look on that translator .... Works like: Ely says "Hello" .. in asmo it is "asas" .. If then I say "asas" then ASmo will se "Hello " ? ....

Well it would be much easier to taunt people to 1vs1 or praise them for good pvp ... But also lot of flame will be going on

 

yeah... just wish it was more retail like where u often have a sign or a sworn code to not zerg or attack 2 ppl pvp. alot of pvp vid u see they go like "1" or use a "+" sign to signal fair pvp. but wont work with so many ignorant ppl here or ppl that don't speak/understans english sadly.

I wish it were like that. I got flamed last night by 3 (speedhackers, I might add,) because I didn't help them 4v1 a sorcerer (Lhuv.) Lhuv wiped their ass so many times it's not even funny.
