Attitude of A GM

Tbh it doesn't matter what is going on. Making sure that hackers are caught and dealt with should be the top priorities here. Event's can be redone and scheduled for another time. It's not granted that persons going to be hacking another time when you're online. So it's best to take care of them when their seen. But then again from what i've seen the gm's have their priorities backwards anyways. Worrying about signature sizes rather then fixing bugs.

EDIT: Not to mention those GM's who are handling the event could indeed contact another GM to have the hacker problem solved. You should have some sort of communication system going on for those problems such as that. When i was a RF online gm our head gm had our phone numbers and if it was important he called us directly and we dealt with it. I've got a desktop and a laptop so i could pretty much get on where ever i was and solve the issue, same as most of the other gm's.

 

well if im hold a RvR alone, i can't stop them to catch 1 hacker. i will record his nick and after i will catch him. If someone hacks 1 times, and he was not catch, he will probably hacks again.
And about phone numbers, do u know how expensive will be do a international call from my country or even the others??? yeah that is not gonna happens

 

First: Recording their name is a good idea. But tbh there needs to be at least 2 GM's on when doing an event for this simple reason of the hacker. So i'd suggest coming up with some sort of schedule to work around so you can have 2 gm's on at the time of running the event. Just like when we got raided, none of you were to be found and this lasted 20 hours or more. Now either those that raided get punishment or let us raid sanctum.

Second: I know how much inter nation calls are. I live in the us and i call a german friend quite often. But it was a mere suggestion to have some form of immediate contact with another gm or someone that can help. Even a trainee. Carl/Laruto should have some form of contacting their staff on a immediate need and not have to pm them. Same goes for all GM's. Get a system going and use it to solve crap like this. Hell i am on 24/7 but there's no way i'd ever become a gm here. Altho id help as much as possible.

 

Sometimes we can't handle too many pm'ing specially if a GM/AMT busy preparing for the event. But we are doing our best just to answer those questions and problems. Thank You...

I'm well aware of this, which is how come i stated that when a event is being held there need to be 2 GM's/AM's online. You as a trainee imo shouldn't even be allowed to host a event without a GM present.

agreed..coz when i have my problem..there where even two GM..drios replied thou...hackers and duppers are only ofline if you guys are online...its just that sometimes your online..isnt it that you had a campaign to stop duppers.?

 

how could we possibly know? we pm'ed and nothing reply's. the sad part is they logged out even before answering just any of the question or you could say that they will leave already, sort of like that. we have too many GM's here and i think in the application says

"Another thread about gms ignoring people who need help." I think as gamezplayer-gamezadmin/AM goes, both sides should put more effort on understanding each other.

 

You have to take in consideration that "Your" not the only person on the server thats probably spamming the Crap out of them . Whisper them once and wait for a reply , don't come make a thread QQ ing because you feel like your getting ignored . So all I have to say to that is take a number and wait in line . What effort would you like to know from players? videoing Hackers? Reporting Spammers? What else? is that our really job? why are we called "players" for? that's their only job and Im not saying that their not as just responsible but the point that even they are needed or being online for thier work we cannot approach them. for me telling us that they could not help us for the time being is acceptable than ignoring us and log out just like his/her nothing.
