Back Again!

After a long time i am finally getting back to aion, i was watching some gameplay that popped up on youtube and i got hooked onto seeing more and more which had in the end caused me to get back on! phew it looks like a lot has changed, higher level caps and of course no items for or characters go to start from scratch going to update my client to 3.7 overnight and everything so i thought why not go on the forums and ask a couple of questions.
Firstly, is ABG useless now? i remember when i was playing that was the item to have and it was the best PPV item on Aion... what is the best set right now?
Dark Poeta, do people still go for runs because when i get aion running i will virtually have nothing so i need to go on DP adventures and ofc you need a group so was just wondering if people still go so i can tag along.
Abyss, is that place still empty? If so brilliant because it used to be a great grinding spot for me (in terms of immersion).
Are there still those daily gifts which give things like scrolls, potions and other stuff? they come in the form of 'questionnaires'
I think that's all i really wanted to ask i hope it will be as fun as when i was playing ! Hope to get to know everyone again!

@Dude yea i remember you. Anyway nope nobody's running DP anymore, there are new instances now so you can get good gear pretty easily but for pvp the best is HAC/ACD/EAC, those are kind of like ABG was back in the day. ABG is still OK but you ll see the difference if you wear the new stuff, mostly for fighting mages, if your opponent is melee then you might as well stick to abg, the difference is insignificant imo.

ABG is like anuhart now, best set is HAC.
I think you might see people doing argent manor and esoterrace and elementis forest and all that jazz

Questionnaires are still around. I think it's like, every couple of 10-20 minutes, you get a small gm giftbox in your inventory

I've only been back for a little less than a month, im a bit icky on what gamez is up to too
