Balancing PvP

i totally agree . godtone is just a pure disaster. i am pretty sure of that. e.g, me being templar in a full sigma server
i got plebty of heals. but when zerg jumps on me, it is not possible for me to use heals.
like almost never, cause of silence godstone.

it resulted in others relying on godstone most of the time which sucks

and i agree with woc. though the person above me said something about ping in retail etc,
it is also true that a low ping user with woc overpowers others a lot. maybe allowing woc to only high ping members will do?

I'm confused. Why exactly is WoC 2 so OP?

Is it the increase in godstone procs?

Is it the increase in DPS?

I'm probably the biggest abuser of WoC 2 ever, but I don't even come close to a 500ms Sorc in terms of raw damage output.

If you don't believe me, ask yourself this: what's worse, a gladiator attacking 1/3rd faster than normally possible with 600-800 damage skills or Sorcerer nukes that crit over 7,000.

 

Best way to balance pvp: ban Togepi again. And again. MAC ban. IP ban.

You are all suggesting good ideas, please keep them coming so when I finally finish gathering ideas I can propose it to Alente or Carl himself without messing up their income from donations.

 

I don't even play anymore and I know it'd be best for Gamez. It's just such a broken mechanic.

 

Just wanting to point it out. There's 4 different Dredgions that can be put into 2 classes: Dungeons and NPC's

Dungeon Dredgions:

Baranth Dredgion (Lv46-Lv50)
Chantra Dredgion (Lv51-Lv55)
Terath Dredgion (Lv56-Lv60)

They are accessible as PvPvE instances for both races, and provide most of the AP seen in retail if I'm not mistaken. Their mechanics were already explained earlier in the thread so I won't bother going into it.

NPC Dredgion:

The NPC Version of the Dredgion is the ship that flies above forts and ports Balaur Assault fleets into the fort in order to take over it. From what I understand, this dredgion should instantly kill anyone who comes close to it, although I do believe that does not work in Gamez. They do spawn in our servers, and the spawn rates have been efficiently worked on from the looks of it, seeing as their attacks stop as soon as they reduce the most powerful faction to a decent influence ratio. The attacks also aren't as...relentless, or constant, as they were at the beginning of this year.

This ship's mobs are relentless. I do believe it is harder to protect a fort from a dredgion than to take over a fort, simply because of the fact that you can't exactly be prepared as a faction if it hits, and even in the remote possibility that you are, a Balaur Assault Commander is leading the attack, and it is as hard as it gets to counterheal his dps as well as even scratch him.

I also believe it is possible to do harm to the dredgion, if you were to get close to the cores (with a Legendary rating at that) and destroy them. I am not completely sure of this, however.

whut s worse? a noob no anim hacker with woc2 for cover it^^ u call sorc op bcs make 7 k dmg in 3'4 sec cast skill time? u can make same dmg in 3'4 sec . anyway sorc crits are rare bcs sorc dont have that mutch crit spell ...and glads for ex can get mr build and mag surpres....whut more u wish t have? UD is still best buff ingame my opinion ... and yesh true woc2=1/3 more attack speed that mean 1/3 moar dmg......33.33333333333% gs moar chances to proc.......not even op^^ gs silent 10/10 most gay item from gamez/ 2nd is woc 2/3th is ME^^

i dont know what weps u are using ,but the gladiators from my legion hit about 2-3k each hit.

wont bother me one bit. -woc lvl2=woc lvl 1 im running with still max speed for me either way, actually this would make it "Easier" for me to kill ppl lol.

 

MR set is working fine. Like 2/10 the possibility of resisting any mage skills, good yeah?

 

I made a chaos arena today and trust me, the glad was full MR or something like that because 2/8 hits wouldn't land and all I could see was resist.

 

Silly Malc. You aren't at 50% speed reduction cap. With WoC 1 you are.. 9% + 3% + 3% + 3% - 50%.
