Yeah, my jaw pretty much dropped when I saw his post.

Is he really that ignorant that he doesn't see the population declining and PvP dying the more we go towards retail like?

I asked it in a different topic and I ask it here again, if this server becomes retail like, a buggy retail like with drops missing on purpose to be exact, what will stop people from leaving to less buggy and more complete retail like private servers?

Hell, the only thing I do these days is log on for 10 mins or something, sitting in Heiron gate, where, not surprisingly, most of my legion now spends their time, that while we used to go DP, Inggi and Forts for PvP..

I believe that Evilset and Carl should take a look at the amount of threads we had in the past. During 1.5 and 1.9, Gamez forum had 4-6 legions to flood the forums with their achievements every day. We had wars, real wars between legions for the Rank 1.

Players were PvP'ing and enjoying it. Players could have a 12 Vs 36 fights and win. Players were crashing the server, the population was the major problem.

Right now, bugs is the major problem, huh? Take a look again and see the numbers of active players. On the forums there are 3k active members but in game this number drops below 300 on Siel, the server that used to have 2k players.

Unfortunately, the failed updates, fake fixes and broken promises bring this community to the zero... Players leave because there is nothing to offer them excitement anymore. The most important thing about Gamez was its amazing OVER-POPULATED PvP. You could find to kill any rank, any class, anywhere on the PvP maps.

The amazing Elten invations by the Blue Club were lasting for hours. Tons of AP, massive PvP in on map with lv45 cap..

There is really nothing to be excited about, even the upgrade to 2.5 leaves us all indifferent..

 

The good old days, wherever you went, there was SOME pvp going on, hell, I even prefer trying to fight out of Eltnen fortress over this dead shit.

Well, After Emmu change the server stay too boring, i'm mean no pvp on beluslan, no more on Heiron, to manyyyy npcs on this citys and silentera don't have more pvp too, only place for pvp is on inggson on front of asmos fortress and that's is not funny at all, all u see there is ranger and sorcerer :sick: , sorcerer still overpower i'm mean my legion mate is a templar and he got glacial by 16 k omg how any another class can beat a sorcerer with that hit ? did i say he was using all magic resist buffs ?...It's a pity cause this server this was best server ever play aion, but i still hope for server rise again.


Yes, This server is boring now, but i hope this moment of boring time pass soon.

 

Well its not the server so much as that the Asmodians have officially surrendered. The few Asmodians you see are actually a rogue faction the split from the main host and are determined to put up a resistance.

 

I noticed after I came back of not playing for a month Asmo population has dwindled down a lot and the balance of power is always on, most of the time. Smaller groups of people in gelk and igg.

ran arund a bit today, seen 6 or seven asmoes in ig, GJ ! I know the server aint going anywhere, it was just boring as hell yesterday . At least theres a little pvp today.

 

More than boring its just things dont work well... Skill can take you as far as bug gets in the way, and there are limits to what can you do in that state. Hence people says nahhh and walks away. At least it what happens to me here from time to time.

I like this server, mostly for the memories I have when i fought the Beluslan wars back in 1.9 beginning of 2.0... But that does not happens anymore... or when it does you end fighting the mobs that are hittin harder than the enemy players XD... or running from a world boss.

So when we were fighting happy in silentera... suddenly you cant kisk anymore, effectively terminating the pvp there... the other day i decided to go back to Reshanta and my wings were shut off by a poison arrow... Sadly i do not have a ping like some of the "pros" to react fast, pot, glide, etc. So I ended delayed, hitting the floor hard XD...

So we are asked to have patience, but while people can be patient, dont expect them to be patient indefinitely lookin nowhere... people just moves and come back from time to time to see if things are the same or not... and thats is whats happening now I think.

 

In that case it shall engage in a duel with the other servers Highlander style. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

 

2.5 update??? LOLss... just check Gamez history when updating.

 

You know how you solve this issue?
Merge both servers and implement stigma system.

Oh wait, server mechanics is still broken. Sorry it won't solve anything.
