Antivirus. When I opened Boss Timer with Malwarebytes on for the first time it blocked a page named db.playbdo.com and I couldn't see the Boss Timer so put that website on exceptions, like the game. That fixes it

i tried completely disabling my anti virus but still had the same problem, turns out smartguard was blocking a file just like you said ('C:\Windows\SysWOW64\pcapwsp.dll'), i had to run a cmd command (cmd as admin : "netsh winsock reset" then "sfc /scannow") and that fixed it for me :) thank you!

I do have to add a small addendum, that there are some third-party anti-virus programs that interfere with the GamezBD code, and that nowadays there really isn't any reason to use third party anti-viruses like back in the day, mainly because the Windows 10 Defender works just fine, and that the internet protocols in general have become much better than they used to be.

The only way to really disable third-party anti-virus programs is to actually uninstall them and restart the PC, that way the program is truly disabled, although it is always good to have a Revo Uninstall like program to check whether there are remnants of the program lurking somewhere.
