Can´t see models

Hello.I´m having problem with new models like Golden Armor.Simply i cannot see em , its just invisible for me.I have tryed some item.pak files , but still no result.

 

The last guy who said this had an outdated client. Go to your aion folder, open version.ini and post the number here. If you can't see item icons, it is an items.pak problem. If you can't see item textures then your client is simply too old.

I would suggest updating until your client is 3.5.0.12

Edit: The guy had 3.5.0.3 which is considered 3.5, 3.5.0.6 and above is 3.7

I would update anyway. Yea it is a recent item introduced in 3.7. Update to 3.5.0.12 and if it doesn't fix then paste a screenshot of your Data\USA\Items\ and Data\Items\ folders here so I can check if you did something wrong.

By the way you still didn't say if you can't see the item icons or the actual item skin/texture.

EDIT: You can repair instead of clicking update, it updates anyway but also checks files for corruptions.

3. Did the other person try relog

Sometimes it is just a visual glitch, doesn't necessarily have to be a corrupt client.

 

Look since update to 3.7 i cannot see em ... so its quiet long time.So problem is with my client i guess.Can you link me that tutorial how to update it ? Thanks

 

1. Run your ncsoft launcher
2. Right click aion in the installed games list on the side
3. Repair

You could also download teamviewer and PM me the ID/pass it gives you so I could connect to you remotely and take a look at the client.

You can always ask Guiilleh when I am not around, he is pretty handy when it comes to client issues as well.

Did you happen to use the Item Remodel NPC with this specific item, and if so, was it a as we call 'base' skin item only or was it remodeled onto something else?

 

His clients were a mess xD 4 different folders, wrong one linked in ncsoft launcher (was 3.0.0.4). Sorting it out and repairing to 3.5.0.12 atm.

 

Yea, but that still doesn't mean he didn't hit himself over the head with the silly remodel npc issue first lol.

Hopefully that it is just a client issue, and not that as well. Either way deary, let me know and we will see what we can do.

 

It wasn't his gear but someone elses and he had a transparent skin. He hasn't answered the previous question so not sure if it was a transparent skin due to wrong race remodel like some skins have or because of his client. Repairing anyway, 3.5.0.12 can't hurt and fixes the unable to change chat colors bug xD

 

Repairing client atm , will take about one week with that wifi

All right so client repaired and working pretty good.Finally can see all skins.
