Cant connect

well i tried to run aion and as soon as it launched it says this


i tried to repair but it asked for an update
when i updated it i got an error so it asked for a repair. and when i repaired it this is what i got:

Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted
Errors occurred while applying the patch,
and a rollback was not attempted.
The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.
The patch application errors are as follows:
Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

i believe this has something to do with my anti virus since i recently switched from avg to avast but since its new i dont know how to turn it off..so if thers any experts that have this antivirus can u please comfirm if this might be the cause of the problem or atleast how to turn it off so i can try to repair aion?

DirectX might be the problem , download and install , after try the repair again
it worked for someone with the same error

did it? directx errors r usually different (either a plain crash or the cry* whatever files)

sounds like memory access which should fix by restarting the pc

avast is alright, i have it too. right click the icon bottom right, goto "avast! shield control" and disable it temporarily
the new launcher is infected and avast doesnt like it much, but this isnt an antivirus issue

and yeah some people fix this by downloading some1 elses bin folder (apparently u cant repair when some of the files there r missing)

 

well idk if that is his case , but i solved one that showed the exact same error with applying what i wrote

 

am using avast also and the new launcher was not detected as a malware, so its not the antivirus. did this happen when you were applying the new gamezaion launcher? im kinda confused.
