Cant Find Launcher

I used to have the private server working before I reset my pc because it had some problems. Now when I try to download it it wont work at all I download the original game and than I download Gamez launcher. When I open Gamez I get a window saying it cant find the games launcher when I click on browse and go through the game folders all the folders are empty. Except they aren't empty because when I look for them they are all there is only when I try to use browse in the pop up window that they all disappear. Anyone can tell me how to fix this problem? why cant it find the games launcher it used to be able to just fine before.
