Can't find running client.Try to start the game

Hi,

I just downloaded the game today. All was working fine until I tried to enter the game.
It stops at the Smart Guard Logo and after the while, there would be a popped ERROR message, "CANT FIND RUNNING CLIENT. TRY TO START GAME AGAIN"..
I hope that you can help me. I'm a big fan of this game but I could only okay in mobile since I'm living here in SEA..

PS: Do i need a VPN for this private server? If I do, can you recommend a free version only. Cant pay for premium VPN

 

Make sure the launcher is pathed to the correct folder that contains the client files. Hide.me is a free VPN. I used to use it way back when. It's very limited in the free version but it does its job.

 

Thank you so much. I got it working with a Hotspot shield VPN but it only has 500MB allocation a day to connect. Ill try the one that you recommended!

PS:
Do i need to turn on my VPN with the duration of my game time? or do i just need it just to enter the server?

 

Dont worry,
i played BDO through mobile phone connection.
500mb a day is way to much for only BDO ^^
