   I can get to the siel lumiel select screen then when i click on either nothing happens untill i close the game.

   You can't play Gamez Aion using 3.5.x.x client. You'll need to downgrade it to 3.0.x.x to be able to play. You seem to have the link so just follow what the guide says.
