Can't join/create a group. Says I can't while summoning a monster.

I'm not summoning a monster. The quest was completed but game thinks I'm still summoning a monster. Will this ever time out? Is there a way to fix/reset this? Do I have to just give up, store stuff, delete toon and start over or can someone reset the char? That is all! So sucky to have this happen right after buying a dream horse from web shop.
The last time I summoned anything was the Monk's Test and the gatekeeper just vanished Fell under the ground or something and I forfeited did it again and completed.

 

Try changing channels and if that doesn't work then you're character is bugged and will take a server restart to correct.
