Can't Log In? Vista? Windows 7? Here's a suggestion.

It seems that the installation may have problems on Vista / Win 7, esp when it's x64, which most new systems are these days.
I just had this problem, and here's my suggestion for a fix.

In addition to the other things mentioned in the sticky thread here:

You can try the following:

1. COPY not MOVE the entire C:\Program Files(x86)\NcSoft\Aion\ folder to something like: C:\GameZ\Aion\ Be patient. 21GB will take a long time to copy.
2. Reinstall the GameZ Launcher, and this time point it to the new place.
3. Now try the game from the GameZ launcher.

Worked for me.

Turns out that on Win7 and maybe Vista, programs can't write to the C:\Program Files\... folder tree, so there is a "virtual store" hidden away in your user directory. :rightful: Well unless a program is very careful, it will mess up and access the files in such a way that it is not consistent, and gets the wrong data. :crying:

Another tip. If the Login Screen is Blue, you are pointed to the wrong servers.
The Login screen for Gamez AION is Pink not Blue. :w00t:.. I take it back. That's not true.
Woops.

So now I'm up and running on the GameZ servers on a Win7 x64 system.
It did work once using the standard install methods, but it was fragile and broke after that first time.
