can't patch game

as title dudes... i'm sorry to bother you but need help with the "patching" system: game says thet there is a new update/patch but "refuses" to download it. i can login but game doesn't start, it only continue tell me that a new update is there and same if i press the config button... looking at the hd led it doesn't blip so i think the process is not loading at all... where do i wrong? what to do now? tx in advance to any kind answer and forgive me for my very bad english, hope you can understand what i'm tryning to say...

Also one really good idea is to keep a copy of the game somewhere else, that way you will not have to redownload it again.
