Can't Play GamezBD...

My game crashes after picking a character(while loading the world) without any error messages just crash and back into the launcher.
This error happeneds only afternoon till the next morning.
The crash doesn't stop no matter how much i try same thing happeneds over and over again.
Can provide video if needed.

 

There seems to me some issues with world loading. I get the same issue sometimes when I pick the character and world starts to load, game will freeze and hang around 80% loading. Sometimes my game will just CTD with no message. It happens rare occasions, but it does.

But the weird thing is that it happeneds only afternoon.
After i come back from school i just can't play, maybe sometimes i can for like 1-3 hours but still

 

I would get a window saying the file was corrupt while playing. I ran a forcecheck and it solved my issue. I would try it out.

@Berzkie .. I copied the retail folder and renamed in GameZ and pointed the launcher to that.
I also downloaded this and copy pasted the resulting files into my GameZ folder as per the instructions below;
Downgrade: Updated 1/14/2019
v1009 NA/EU Retail to v972 GamezBD (7.5GB)

• Extract the files (using 7-zip) to your retail client folder(suggest making a copy first), selecting to copy and replace when prompted.
• Open GamezBDO launcher, go to settings and set your game path to your client folder.
• Launcher may update a few files.

In my case this brought my install client up to 99% complete so the rest of it downloaded pretty quickly. Hope that helps.

P.S.
If you don't have the retail version to downgrade then I'd recommend using the GameZ official torrent and leave it running until it's complete but I suspect my first recommendation will be faster.
I also found the Google & Amazon downloads (33Gb) to be too long and prone to disconnects even with IDM. At least with Torrent you can reliably restart the download (I use Tixati).

 

Force check fixed this issue for me. Did it not work for you guys?

 

Damn .. it's happening to me again lol. Just completed a full re-install this morning and managed to stay on all day, but tonight pffffttttt ... drops back to launcher after trying to select character.
It's like it times out and drops back to launcher.
I did notice before my re-log attempt (while still in game) that the desync/lag was bloody awful!! lol
Like it was One One Thousand, Two One Thousand, Three Onethousand, Four One Thousand and then the delay would catch up.

The EDIT:
OK .. can't get to start. Little man runs across the screen during character load and then gets to the end and crashes back to Launcher.

Have you tried other characters?, if its just that character try and rescue it from the website (this will teleport you to velia)

 

I just keep on getting disconnecting/game crashing no error after character selection. Seems to be a server sided issue. Now server is restarting so maybe multiple people noticed and reported it already.

 

Yes, I tried that too but it made no difference.

This is actually so weird. If i use vpn it lets me in but i can't do anything - Potions don't work, Mails don't show up, Can't get on your horse and other stuff. :3

I'm back in again after the server reset. Didn't do anything else on my end.

 

Server overloaded or something perhaps? lol But hey, its fixed so WB
