Cash Gifting and Trading

Hello.

Is buying/selling items for cash allowed? I see lots of people selling boss items/buying PEN items for cash.

If it is allowed, is it protected by the staff? If someone scams me (Example : I'm buying something for cash, I give seller the cash, but seller doesn't put item on the market.) will staff give me my cash back?

Well the thing is...It is against the rules of the Gamez network to trade with Real-Life money, and I think that the ONLY way you can "gift" Pearls is to spend money on them through the webshop, so in reality this SHOULD be against the policies of this site. However it is a bit vague because no one seems to object to this being done...so far anyway...BUT what I CAN tell you is that it is certainly NOT the responsibility of the Gamez-network Staff to make sure that the Private trades like these go down fairly, which basically means that everytime you agree to something this "risky" (more like naive) you are the one running ALL the risk and NO one is going to help you if/when you get scammed.

So yeah, you are not going to get the items you try to trade for -when you are doing this thing- from the staff...also you cannot Trade Player to Player, so I fail to see how they are going to Give you the item in question in the first place, so all in all it seems to me that ALL trades for items is a scam to begin with...I may be wrong about how it works but as far as I know this is how things work on GamezBD.

 

I urge extreme caution in making trades of this kind. This is because you have no guarantee that the other player will hold up their end of the bargain, so to speak. If you do, however, choose to do so, make sure you record the entire conversation agreement and transaction. This will serve as proof of being scammed, should the unthinkable happen to you. Also, make sure the recording is full screen (showing the entire in game screen including the chat) and unedited. As loboram mentioned above, the staff can't give you items you lose in the trade. The only thing that will happen is the scammer banned.
